  • Patent number: 11945118
Abstract: A method of planning works for robots includes creating a work plan for a plurality of robots, each having a work tool, sharing at at least one station a work to a plurality of work parts of the workpiece. The method includes the steps of calculating a distribution of the work parts to the robots, calculating, as a robot operation, a work order of the work parts and a moving path of the work tool for each of the robots based on the calculated work distribution, and calculating a disposed location of each of the robots with respect to the workpiece and a station where the robot is disposed so that an inter-robot interference does not occur during execution of the calculated robot operation.

  • Publication number: 20240037294
Abstract: A simulator includes circuitry and a storage. The storage stores target operation data indicative of a series of target operations, and data relevant to a virtual robot model. The processing circuitry performs: causing the robot model to operate according to the target operation data; outputting image data of the operating robot model to a display; accepting an input of a change in a first operation that is operation of the robot model according to the target operation data and is displayed on the display; associating information indicative of a state of the robot model in a second operation, to which the change is reflected, with information on the first operation included in the target operation data; and storing the associated information in the storage. The circuitry outputs image data indicative of the second operation to the display, when causing the robot model to perform the first operation.

  • Publication number: 20230365340
Abstract: A driver includes: a first motor located so as to rotate a driving shaft; a second motor located so as to rotate the driving shaft; and circuitry. The circuitry performs control while switching between a dual mode and a single mode. In the dual mode, the circuitry drives the first motor and the second motor together. In the single mode, the circuitry drives a drive target motor that is one of the first motor and the second motor and performs such control as to set one or more among a rotational speed, rotation acceleration, and rotation deceleration of the drive target motor to be lower than that or those in the dual mode.

  • Publication number: 20230330842
Abstract: A robot controller that controls an operation of a robot includes circuitry and memory equipment. The memory equipment stores target data indicating a target installation state of a transferrer that supports and moves at least one of the robot or a target object handled by the robot. The circuitry outputs to a display an input image showing a measurement position of an installation state of the transferrer together with an image of the transferrer. The circuitry receives measurement data of the installation state. The circuitry compares the measurement data with the target data to determine the presence or absence of the abnormality of the installation state.

  • Publication number: 20230150149
Abstract: An insulating structure disposed so as to intervene between a first member of a robotic arm and an end effector includes a second member fixed to the first member, the end effector being attachable to the second member, and an insulator that insulates the second member from the first member. The second member includes a second hole into which a first bolt that fixes the second member to the first member is inserted, and a third hole into which a second bolt that fixes the end effector to the second member is inserted. The second hole and the third hole are disposed so that, in a state where the second member is fixed to the first member, the position of the third hole matches with the position of a first hole for attachment of the end effector, the first hole being formed beforehand in the first member.

  • Patent number: 11332209
Abstract: A robot system has at least one robot that performs predetermined work on at least first and second work portions among a plurality of work portions, and a plurality of locators each having a locate pin movable in three axial directions orthogonal to one another, and that position the workpiece with the locate pins being inserted into the holes at a first position where the robot performs work on the first work portion, and a control device that controls operation of the plurality of locators, in which after the work of the robot on the first work portion is completed, the control device controls the plurality of locators while keeping a state that the locate pins are inserted into the holes, so as to change a position of the workpiece from the first position to a second position where the robot performs work on the second work portion.

  • Publication number: 20220105587
Abstract: A cooling device includes a refrigerant circulation channel, and a pump configured to pump refrigerant in the refrigerant circulation channel A heat generating part of an articulated robot includes a heat generating part of an end effector, and a part of the refrigerant circulation channel is formed as a first heat exchanging part configured to exchange heat between the heat generating part of the end effector and the refrigerant, and another part of the refrigerant circulation channel is formed as a radiator. The radiator is a passive radiator, and is attached in an exposed state to a part of the surface of an arm, configured to move in a space when a joint of the arm is driven.
