  • Publication number: 20050091043
Abstract: The present invention relates to an acoustic signal processor, and provides a device which allows processing of acoustic signals such that acoustic information can be easily heard and accurately understood by individuals with or without hearing impairment. The acoustic signal processor comprises a peak detection circuit group 4 for determining a frequency band having the highest energy level out of the frequency bands constituting the inputted acoustic signals, and a variable equalizer 7 which maintains the energy level roughly at a constant level for the frequency bands lower than the frequency band determined by peak detection circuit group 4, and increases the amplification degree of the energy level as the frequency increases for the frequency bands higher than the frequency band determined by the peak detection circuit group 4.

Abstract: The present invention is a hearing aid for amplifying an acoustic signals comprising: a controller for determining in real time a frequency band at the highest level of the acoustic signals through frequency analysis of the acoustic signals that vary over time, and for generating a control signal to raise a gain for signals of a higher frequency range than the frequency band at the highest level (such as an amplifier Q3, or a band-pass filter group 2 and a diode matrix 3 and a comparator 4, or a digital signal processor 13, or the like); and a first amplifier, in which the control signal from said controller is inputted so that the frequency characteristics are varied, for amplifying the acoustic signals by increasing the gain for signals of the higher frequency range than the frequency band at the highest level (such as an amplifier system consisting of amplifiers Q1 and Q2, or a parametric equalizer 5, or a digital signal processor 13, or the like).

  • Patent number: 6605127
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing an aluminum solid electrolyte capacitor, mass-production of aluminum solid electrolyte capacitors with high reliability and excellent quality is made possible by adopting a sequence of steps whereby it is ensured that no stress is applied to the capacitor body (for example coiled element), and by providing means that make possible implementation of these steps. A capacitor body 1 is inserted into a case 3 having a first aperture 3A that is open at the bottom and a second constricted aperture 3B at the top, via the first aperture 3A, and sealing and fixing are performed by a sealant 5 consisting of an epoxy resin, then the capacitor body 1 is coated or impregnated by introducing 3,4-ethylenedioxy-thiophene through the second aperture 3B, then solid electrolyte constituted by poly(3,4-ethylenedioxy-thiophene) is generated by an oxidative polymerization reaction, after which the second aperture 3B is sealed.

  • Patent number: 5580358
Abstract: An electrolytic capacitor is manufactured by coiling an anode foil with a lead terminal fixed thereto, a cathode foil with a lead terminal fixed thereto, and a separator into a capacitor assembly, placing a sealing cap of an elastomeric material on the lead terminals which are inserted through respective holes defined in the sealing cap after an adhesive is applied in the holes, thereby attaching the sealing cap to the capacitor assembly, and heating the adhesive until the adhesive is fully set, thereby bonding the lead terminals and the sealing cap to each other. Thereafter, the capacitor assembly is impregnated with an electrolytic solution, and the capacitor assembly with the sealing cap attached thereto is inserted into a case and sealing the capacitor assembly in the case. The electrolytic capacitor thus manufactured has a relatively simple structure to effectively prevent the electrolytic solution from leaking out, and also has a long service life and is highly reliable.
