  • Publication number: 20150097873
Abstract: A head-mounted display device includes: an image display unit including an image-light generating unit that generates image light representing an image and emits the image light and a light guide unit that guides the emitted image light to the eye of a user, the image display unit being for causing the user to visually recognize a virtual image; and a control unit that includes an operation surface, is connected to the image display unit, and controls image display by the image display unit. When it is assumed that the user shifts the user's attention from the virtual image, the control unit adjusts the luminance of the image-light generating unit or adjusts the image light generated by the image-light generating unit to reduce the visibility of the virtual image.

  • Publication number: 20150062165
Abstract: When a hand of the user is recognized in an image pickup region of a camera, a head mounted display stores a contour shape of the hand which would be imaged by the camera in advance. In addition, the head mounted display receives an input of image data per pixel included in the camera, calculates a difference between colors of adjacent pixels represented by the image data, sets a set of image data having the same color system, where the calculated difference is within a predetermined threshold, as a group, and captures a contour of a region of the data. Next, the head mounted display compares the captured contour to a contour shape of the hand which is stored in advance to allow the user to recognize the hand of the user in the image pickup region.

  • Publication number: 20140228146
Abstract: When a golf club head is placed in a reference state, a distance A from a lowest part of a sole to a leading edge in a vertical direction is 6 mm?A?10 mm. A distance B from a bottom of the face to a top of a club head main body is 14 mm?B?18 mm. The distances A and B satisfy a relationship 13 mm?(A+B)/2?19 mm. When the sole is lifted for 6 mm from the ball bottom, a center of the face is about 3.6 mm above a ball equator and 2.4 mm below the ball equator. When the distance A is the minimum value of 6 mm and the distance B is the minimum value of 14 mm, the center of the face is located at about 7.0 mm below the ball equator.
