    Abstract: An insulating shield plate (1) divides a room of an electrolysis bath (2) into an anode chamber (13) and a cathode chamber (14). An anode (5) is disposed in the anode chamber (13), and a cathode (6), metallic waste (7) and heater (4) are disposed in the cathode chamber (14). An electrolyte (3) stored in the electrolysis bath (2) flows in a circulation path from a circulating pump (10) through a circulating line (12) and filter (11) to return the electrolysis bath (2). An exhaust gas processing device 9 is connected to the electrolysis bath (2). When a voltage is supplied to the anode (5) and cathode (6), a surface of the metallic waste (7) is charged in a positive polarity to dissolve a base metal of the metallic waste (7). Further, a cylindrical anode (33) is arranged in an electrolyte (32) in an electrolysis bath (31), and a cylindrical metal (34) as a metallic waste is arranged in the cylindrical anode (33).

    Abstract: A connector includes a first connector housing having a resiliently deflectable lock arm in an outer wall of the first connector housing and a second connector housing having a lock arm engaging with a locking piece fitted in the first connector housing. In the complete engaged state of the pair of connector housings, the lock arm engages with the locking piece so that the first and second connector housings are secured to each other. The connector further includes an engagement confirming member movably attached to the lock arm and an engagement retaining wall standing and positioned adjacently to the engagement confirming member. In the complete engagement of the pair of connector housings, the engagement confirming member is moved onto a top portion of the engagement retaining wall to prevent the lock arm from deflecting. The engagement confirming member is preferably attached movably in a substantially orthogonal direction to the engagement direction of the connector housings.

    Abstract: There are provided a resilient engaging piece to the terminal metal part provided through the resilient displacement permissible space opposite to the terminal accommodating cavity formed at a connector body portion of the connector, and the insertion detecting body corresponding to the resilient displacement permissible space at the main frame portion of the insertion detecting member for terminal metal parts and a pair of manipulating pieces each at opposite sides thereof. The insertion detecting member for terminal metal parts is caused to move freely to enable the main frame portion thereof to come into contact with the inside wall surface of the hood portion. The pair of manipulating pieces are exposed at both sides of the housing body portion through the window of the hood portion at the provisional engaging position, and the insertion detecting body can be moved to enter into the resilient displacement permissible space at the formal engaging position.

    Abstract: A blocking plug is reliably locked in position in an insertion hole in a waterproof stopper and prevented from slipping off. A rubber-made waterproof stopper is fitted in the rear of a waterproof connector housing with a plurality of terminal accommodating chambers formed therein, the waterproof stopper having insertion holes corresponding to the individual terminal accommodating chambers. A stopper cover of synthetic resin having throughholes corresponding to the individual insertion holes of the waterproof stopper is provided to cover the waterproof stopper. The stopper cover is in the rear surface formed with engagement portions each for engagement with a corresponding engagement portion formed at the rear of a blocking plug.

    Abstract: A waterproof tap cover for use in a waterproof connector which prevents a waterproof tap from being damaged when a terminal metal member is removed from a connector housing in the waterproof connector. The waterproof tap, which is formed of rubber and includes a plurality of insertion holes respectively formed so as to oppose a plurality of terminal storage chambers formed in the connector housing, is fitted with the rear portion of the connector housing, and the waterproof tap is fixed by the waterproof tap cover which has a plurality of through holes corresponding to the insertion holes. Chamfered escape recesses are formed in the hole edge portions of the through holes adjacent the waterproof tap in order to accommodate ridge portions of the waterproof tap when the terminals are withdrawn from the connector housing so that the connector can be resealed when the terminals are inserted again.

The connector fastening nut can engage/disengage the two connector housings smoothly, while preventing the damage of the threaded portions thereof and improving the water-tightness of the fastening nut.

With the construction above, when the shielding plug is pressed by the pushing projection to be inserted into the terminal accommodating chamber and the housing locking section thereof is engaged with a locking claw provided at the outer circumferential surface of the connector housing, the pushing projection and the housing locking section can be observed from outside, and the location of the shielding plug stuffed in the terminal accommodating chamber can be consistent, so that even a conventionally adopted connector terminal checking tool can be used.
