  • Publication number: 20210250558
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a projection apparatus capable of appropriately performing control relating to rotation of a projection lens. A projection apparatus according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a housing; a power supply; a control unit; and a projection lens attached to the housing, the projection lens having a holder, a detection unit that detects a rotation state of the holder, and a locking mechanism unit that brings rotation of the holder into a locked state or an unlocked state. The locking mechanism unit does not bring rotation of the holder into the locked state when a rotation state of the holder is other than a specific state. The specific state is a rotation state in which the locking mechanism unit is capable of bringing rotation of the holder into the locked state. When rotation of the holder is not brought into the locked state, the control unit disables an operation relating to the locked state or an operation of turning off the power supply.

  • Publication number: 20210025724
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and methods of estimating a traffic volume of moving objects. In particular, the present disclosure estimates the traffic volume based on amounts of traffic volume of the moving objects observed at observation points based on a routing matrix and a visitor matrix. The routing matrix indicates whether moving objects that pass through specific waypoints are to be observed at an observation point. The visitor matrix indicates whether a moving object departing or arriving at the observation point. The present disclosure enables estimating a traffic volume of moving objects on various routes based on observed data with errors in data and varying lengths in observation periods.

  • Publication number: 20190155128
Abstract: A projection lens is shifted in the direction of an arrow A1 by a shift mechanism to change the position of a projection image on a screen. A first optical system forms an image of an image display panel on an intermediate imaging plane. A second optical system projects the image, which is formed on the imaging plane, onto the screen. A warning indicator member includes a mask and a warning mark, and is disposed on the imaging plane of the first optical system. The warning mark is formed at a portion of the warning indicator member where an image frame of an intermediate image is hidden by the mask. In a case in which the projection lens is excessively shifted, the image of the warning mark is displayed on the screen. Accordingly, a user can reliably know that a part of an image is missed.

  • Patent number: 10042138
Abstract: A projection lens has lens holding frames that hold lenses. In a case where an image forming panel is disposed to be shifted with respect to an optical axis of the projection lens, an increase in temperature of a first part on a side to which the image forming panel is shifted with respect to the optical axis L, is greater than that of a second part on the opposite side. A hollow structure, which makes the first part 36f and the second part 36g communicate with each other, has a porous layer and is filled with a heat storage medium. By circulating the heat storage medium through the inside of the hollow structure, the first part is cooled, and the second part is heated. Therefore, temperature distribution in the circumferential direction of the lens barrel becomes uniform, and deterioration in performance of the projected image is suppressed.

In a case where an image forming panel is disposed to be shifted with respect to an optical axis of the projection lens, in a second part on a side to which the image forming panel is shifted with respect to the optical axis of the projection lens, there is a great increase in temperature, and in a first part on the opposite side, there is a small increase in temperature. A lens barrel heating optical section has a first mirror, condensing lenses, and a second mirror. The lens barrel heating optical section emits the redundant light, which is reflected by the color wheel, toward the first part of the lens barrel. By heating the first part through redundant light, temperature distribution in the circumferential direction becomes uniform, and deterioration in performance of the projected image is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 9904153
Abstract: A projection unit has a zoom adjustment unit, an image-plane correction unit, a first drive unit, and a solenoid-actuator. The zoom adjustment unit enlarges or reduces a projected-image by moving a first lens group in a K direction. The image-plane correction unit performs image-plane correction on the projected-image by moving a second lens group in the K direction. The first drive unit includes a switching-gear, drives the zoom adjustment unit in a state in which the switching-gear is connected to the zoom adjustment unit, and drives the image-plane correction unit in a state in which the switching-gear is connected to the image-plane correction unit. In a case of driving one of the zoom adjustment unit and the image-plane correction unit, the solenoid-actuator switches the switching-gear from the other of the zoom adjustment unit and the image-plane correction unit to one of the zoom adjustment unit and the image-plane correction unit.
