Patent number: 6993636Abstract: Disk units operable under control of different disk control units hold the same data. Under circumstances in which data is duplexed, when data is duplexed again after data that is generally saved as backup data was accessed for reading and writing, in order to efficiently duplex data, update places of both original data and sub-data updated during the duplexing of data is interrupted are registered on an access information management table of an original disk control unit. When the original disk control unit receives a duplexing resume command, the duplexing of data may be efficiently reorganized by copying original data corresponding to an access place produced during the duplexing is interrupted from information of the access information management table to the backup data or by copying the backup data to the original data.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2003Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Hitoshi Shiozawa, Koji Ozawa, Takahisa Kimura, Kazuhito Suishu, Kosaku Kambayashi, Katsunori Nakamura

Patent number: 6919673Abstract: A shadow mask is arranged to face a phosphor screen formed on an inner surface of a panel. A plurality of aperture columns are formed in parallel in the shadow mask. Each aperture column includes a plurality of apertures arranged in line at a predetermined interval. On both sides of each aperture column on the surface of the shadow mask facing the electron gun, stripe-shaped dielectric layers for acting on electron beams toward the apertures are formed respectively, and extend in substantial parallel with the aperture columns. The shadow mask is manufactured in such a manner that stripe-shaped insulating material layers are formed on the surface of a mask base material facing the electron gun, the mask base material is thereafter shaped into a predetermined shape, and the insulating material layers on the shaped mask are sintered.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2002Date of Patent: July 19, 2005Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Tohru Takahashi, Masatsugu Inoue, Kumio Fukuda, Masaru Nikaido, Hitoshi Shiozawa, Akiyoshi Nakamura, Satoshi Ishikawa

Publication number: 20020024289Abstract: A color cathode ray tube comprises a metal back layer containing a co-vapor deposition layer of a first metal such as Al or the like and a metal oxide high in heat absorptivity, such as Fe3O4, NiO, NiFe2O4, Cr2O3, MnO2 or the like. The metal back layer may be manufactured at low costs and may be high in heat absorption and may not deteriorate in reflectivity in the course of heating.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2001Publication date: February 28, 2002Inventors: Masaru Nikaido, Hitoshi Shiozawa, Yoshihiro Tajima
