Abstract: This aerosol-generating system comprises: an aerosol-generating device; an aerosol-generating article that generates an aerosol by heating; and a heating unit, wherein the aerosol-generating device includes a receptacle that houses the aerosol-generating article, and a power supply unit that supplies power to the heating unit, the heating unit heats the aerosol-generating article housed in the receptacle, a first shaped portion having a protruding first shape is formed on the bottom of the receptacle, the aerosol-generating article has an end portion inserted into the receptacle, the end portion is configured to include a second shaped portion having a second shape corresponding to the first shape when the aerosol-generating article is housed in the receptacle, and at least a part of a surface of the second shaped portion is inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the aerosol-generating article.

Abstract: This aerosol generating system includes a cylindrical member having an opening into which an aerosol generating article containing an aerosol source is inserted, a membranal heating part disposed on the outer side surface of the cylindrical member, and a heat diffusion layer in which a first layer having heat conductivity equal to or higher than a first threshold and a second layer having tensile strength equal to or higher than a second threshold are laminated, wherein the heat diffusion layer is disposed such that the heat diffusion layer is wound to cover the outer side of the heating part disposed on the outer side surface of the cylindrical member in the state where the first layer faces inward and the second layer faces outward.

The flavor rod comprises a plurality of tightly wound rods and an outer winding paper that is wound around the plurality of tightly wound rods bundled together. Each of the plurality of tightly wound rods comprise an inner winding paper, and a flavor source and an aerosol-generating substrate that are disposed on the inner side of the inner winding paper.

The winding equipment includes a garniture tape and a molding bed having a molding groove in which the garniture tape travels. The rollable paper is supported on the garniture tape and travels in the molding groove with the garniture tape. The filler is supported on the rollable paper and is continuously wrapped in the rollable paper via the garniture tape traveling in the molding groove and is molded into the filling rod. The molding bed has a suction chamber for suctioning a groove space in the molding groove. The garniture tape has a suction hole and applies suction force from the suction chamber to the rollable paper via the suction hole.

Abstract: A rolling unit for a filler rod includes a rolling drum that has an outer peripheral surface for holding chip paper and a continuous body and transfers the chip paper and the continuous body in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface; and a rolling block that has a rolling surface facing the outer peripheral surface of the rolling drum, forms a rolling gap between the rolling surface and the outer peripheral surface of the rolling drum, and winds the chip paper around the continuous body by rolling the continuous body while interposing the continuous body in the rolling gap as the rolling drum rotates. A plurality of block-side suction holes is opened on the rolling surface of the rolling block, and the rolling gap is suctioned via the block side suction holes.

A method for manufacturing a flavor inhaler cartridge includes feeding a cooling unit sheet used as a material of a cooling unit, cutting the cooling unit sheet along a second direction perpendicular to a first direction in which a plurality of ridge portions extends and cutting the cooling unit sheet along the first direction so as to separate the cooling unit sheet at a predetermined interval in the second direction, spacing at least two cooling units adjacent in the first direction, which are generated from the cut cooling unit sheet, apart from each other in the first direction, and disposing the flavor source between the at least two cooling units.

A flavor inhaler cartridge includes: a raw material portion that is heated and thereby generates aerosols; and a case that accommodates the raw material portion therein. The case includes a first wall, a second wall that faces the first wall, a pair of connecting walls that connect the first wall to the second wall, a first end surface that is provided with a first opening defined by the first wall, the second wall, and the pair of connecting walls, and a second end surface that faces the first end surface portion. The pair of connecting walls include, on surfaces facing inside of the case, a plurality of half-cuts or debosses extending between the first end surface and the second end surface, and are folded along the plurality of half-cuts or debosses.

Abstract: A blank forming step for forming a sheet-shaped resin blank able to be formed into a box by folding and bending, and a score line forming step of forming score lines in score line forming areas of the blank which are to be bent to form outer edges of the box, to extend in the direction in which the outer edges should extend. In the score line forming step, the score lines are formed in a manner causing grooves to be produced on the back side of each score line forming area, along the score lines, through plastic deformation. The blank therefore does not undergo tensile stress pulling on the blank to either side of each groove, and thus, does not undergo warping as a whole. The blank thus retains its sheet shape and can be steadily supplied to a packaging machine.

On lateral edges (40) of the box part (2), chamfered edges (42) extending from a bottom wall (38) of the box part (2) over a specified length are formed. The chamfered edges (42) have a width ranging between 0.8 mm and 2 mm.

When the lid is on, the engaging portion adjoins the distal end of the lug. When the lid in this state is rocked slightly in the opening direction, the distal end of the lug is held between the engaging portion and the inner surface of the lid.

Abstract: A tongue lid pack includes a body containing a packing article of filter cigarettes, and a cutting line is formed on the front wall of the body. A tongue lid is hingedly connected to the opening end of the body, and the tongue lid has a lid portion for closing and opening the opening end and a tongue extending from the lid portion and a bent tip. When the tongue lid is closed, the bent tip of the tongue is inserted through the cutting line of the front wall. Also, a blank for the tongue lid pack and a method for folding the blank are disclosed.
