  • Patent number: 10471939
Abstract: A braking control apparatus performs right and left wheel independent control to approach a slip rate of a rear-right wheel and a rear-left wheel to a target slip rate as an average of slip rates of a front-right wheel and a front-left wheel. In a high-speed range, right and left wheel independent control is started when a deceleration is equal to or larger than a start value that is smaller than a start value used in a low-speed range. In right and left wheel independent control started in the high-speed range, when there is a demand to increase braking pressures of both the rear-right wheel and the rear-left wheel, the braking pressure of the rear wheel located on the outside during the occurrence of deflection of the vehicle resulting from braking is increased, and the braking pressure of the rear wheel located on the inside is prohibited from increasing.

  • Patent number: 8744714
Abstract: A vehicle braking control system includes a wheel cylinder which applies a braking force in accordance with a fluid pressure to a vehicle wheel and a control device which controls the fluid pressure of the wheel cylinder based on the vehicle wheel acceleration. Then, the control device applies the predetermined fluid pressure to the wheel cylinder so as to acquire a return level of the vehicle wheel acceleration and calculates a control target value of the fluid pressure based on a behavior of the vehicle wheel acceleration after starting a sudden braking operation and before starting ABS control.

  • Publication number: 20110318697
Abstract: Provided is a ground flare in which a low-frequency vibration generated from a ground flare tower, such as a chimney, is properly adjusted to suppress it below a fixture-vibration generation limit, thereby preventing surrounding objects from resonating and vibrating. In a ground flare that burns a flammable exhaust gas with a burner at the lower end of a chimney, in which the lower end of the chimney and the periphery of the burner are surrounded by a windbreak, the low-frequency-noise sound pressure level of a ground flare tower composed of the chimney and the windbreak is reduced by selecting at least one of changing a natural frequency generated from the ground flare tower, using multiple ground flare towers, and installing a low-frequency-vibration absorber in the ground flare tower.

  • Patent number: 5869943
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vehicle motion control system for maintaining vehicle stability, even in the case where the vehicle is tilted when the vehicle is in turning motion, wherein a braking force control unit is provided for controlling a braking force applied to each of front and rear wheels of the vehicle. The system includes a tilt detection unit which detects a tilt of a normal axis of the vehicle to its vertical axis, and a turn determination unit which determines a turning condition of the vehicle including a turning direction thereof. A yaw moment control unit is provided for controlling the braking force controlling unit to produce a yaw moment in a direction opposite to the turning direction of the vehicle in response to the tilt detected by the tilt detection unit when the turn determination unit determines that the vehicle is turning.
