  • Patent number: 10368191
Abstract: A confined space estimation system, and a confined space estimation method capable of accurately confirming a confined space formed in the event of a disaster, estimates a confined space comprising a storage device which stores information indicating a geographical space, and a processor which divides the geographical space into grids. Based on location information sent from a terminal, the processor periodically aggregates a number of terminals within the grids or a number of terminals that passed through boundaries between the grids, extracts grids or boundaries in which the aggregated number of terminals is a predetermined number and in which there is no change in the aggregated number of terminals, determines whether the extracted grids or boundaries can be linked to form an annular shape, and, if the annular shape can be formed, estimates a geographical space configured from the grids within the formed annular shape as the confined space.

  • Patent number: 4389998
Abstract: A distribution type fuel injection pump for use in a fuel injection combustion engine comprising a plunger capable of moving reciprocally along its axis and simultaneously rotating about its axis and a couple of members forming a cam mechanism having a first cam member and a second cam member. The first cam member is mounted on the plunger and the second cam member is mounted on a housing rotatably about its axis. The couple of cam members cause the plunger to move reciprocally while the plunger is rotating. The angular position of the second cam member about its axis can be controlled by a fuel injection timing control means in accordance with the engine speed. The second cam member can also turn about its axis so as to be adjusted in its angular position by a fuel injection timing adjusting means when the engine is substantially operated at the low speed, for example, at the time of engine start.

  • Patent number: 4342301
Abstract: In a distributor type fuel injection pump including a load-responsive pressure adjusting device which is responsive to engine loads for allowing drainage of part of the fuel in the suction chamber of the pump into a zone under lower pressure in the pump when the engine is operated within a predetermined load range, a pressure setting valve is provided in a drainage passage forming part of the pressure adjusting device, which is adapted to open at a predetermined pressure. The pressure setting valve enables establishment of necessary fuel pressure for normal actuation of a fuel injection timing control device provided in the pump within a low engine speed (rpm) range even during operation of the pressure adjusting device.

  • Patent number: 4120456
Abstract: The vortex chamber (11) of a fuel injection valve is occupied by a stepped, spring biased auxiliary valve (13) disposed in a cylindrical recess (8a) in a passage member (7) at the completion of each injection cycle. This seals the nozzle opening (14) and expels any residual fuel from the vortex chamber in preparation for the next injection cycle. The auxiliary valve (13) is raised by the injection pressure acting on its downwardly facing, circular shoulder. Alternatively, the auxiliary valve may be made integral with the main needle valve (29) in the form of a truncated conical tip (27a) on the end of an axial stem portion (27), the tip extending through and occupying a vortex chamber above a valve seat (26) at the end of each injection cycle.
