    Abstract: An electronic time keeping device has a stepping motor including a rotor, a stator and coils mounted in unitary fashion. Hands of the minimum unit of time are mounted directly to the shaft of the stepping motor. Gear mechanisms, electronic parts and the like are accommodated in a depressed portion on the upper surface of the time keeping device.
