  • Patent number: 5734982
Abstract: A radio communication system includes a radio port, a fixed radio terminal, a memory unit, a notification unit, and a mobile radio terminal. The radio port communicates in a service area by using a predetermined radio frequency which is multiplexed by time division into a plurality of radio channels. The fixed radio terminal is stationarily set in the service area of the radio port and has a first transmission/reception unit for communicating with the radio port by using a radio channel which is permanently assigned in advance. The memory unit stores the radio channel assigned in advance to the fixed radio terminal. The notification unit provides information, including channel information stored in the memory unit, in the service area of the radio port through the radio port. The mobile radio terminal communicates with the radio port by using a radio channel not assigned to the fixed radio terminal on the basis of the channel information provided in the service area of the radio port.

  • Patent number: 5618464
Abstract: A Ni ferrite sintered body comprising 48.0-50.0 mol % of Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 14.0-24.0 mol % of NiO and 28.0-36.0 mol % of ZnO with 50 ppm or less of P as an impurity, the sintered body having a minimum core loss of 30 kW/m.sup.3 or less at 50 kHz and 50 mT, and the segregation percentage of P in the crystal structure being 1% or less by area. The Ni ferrite sintered body preferably has an average crystal grain size of 3-30 .mu.m, the percentage of crystal grain particles larger than two times the average crystal grain size being preferably 10% or less based on the total number of the crystal grain particles in a crystal structure.

  • Patent number: 5485169
Abstract: A passive, active or mixed platform type antenna orienting apparatus mounts on a vehicle such as a small-sized vessel or an automobile, which is subject to turns and complex vibrations, traces a target such as a communications satellite with a directive antenna. Between a rotational shaft connected to a platform supporting an antenna and a stationery shaft connected to base to be carried on a vehicle, there is interposed as electric rotary coupling for transmitting power and signals necessary for a transmission signal and an attitude control, so that the platform 43 supporting the antenna 1 may continuously rotate with respect to the vehicle 27. Midway of a post 41, moreover, there is disposed a horizontal damping mechanism 70 which includes a laminate 75 and facial pressure apply means 76 for applying a facial pressure to a laminate 75, to effect a damping action which is excellent in durability and even in the horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 5378739
Abstract: A W/O emulsion ink for use in stencil printing is composed of an oil phase and a water phase with the respective ratios by wt. % thereof being (20 to 40):(80 to 60). The oil phase is composed of a solvent component containing a volatile solvent with an initial boiling point of 150.degree. to 210.degree. C. and a nonvolatile solvent, with the respective ratios by wt. % thereof being (10 to 30):(90 to 70), a coloring agent, a resin, and a surface-active agent, with the amount of the resin in the oil phase being in the range of 2 to 8 wt. % of the total weight of the emulsion.

  • Patent number: 5188881
Abstract: A thermosensitive stencil paper is composed of a substrate and a thermoplastic resin film formed thereon, which thermoplastic resin film has projections in the surface portion thereof, with a printing roughness (R.sub.p) of 2.2 to 5.0 .mu.m, which is a physical quantity proportional to the average depth of the depressions in the surface portion thereof pressed against a standard surface.
