  • Publication number: 20070171085
Abstract: A statistical value update unit calculates the fluctuation of measurement data. A filtering processing unit extracts a normal white noise component from the fluctuation of the measurement data using an adaptive lattice filter. A statistical test unit determines whether or not the variance of the normal white noise component is out of a predetermined scope in reference distribution. A change decision unit detects a stationary change of the status of a target system based on a detection ratio of an outlier.

  • Patent number: 7230685
Abstract: First image data including a first pixel value according to the intensity of background light is obtained by means of only exposure. Second image data including a second pixel value according to the intensity of the light reflected or scattered by an object is obtained by so controlling light emission and exposure as to receive part of the reflected or scattered light over the whole exposure period. The part of the reflected or scattered light corresponds to the flat period of emitted pulsed light. Third image data including a third pixel value according to the distance to the object is obtained by so controlling light emission and exposure as to receive the part of the reflected or scattered light for a time according to the distance. The first pixel value is subtracted from each of the second and third pixel values so that the influence of the background light can be excluded.

  • Publication number: 20070074076
Abstract: A network fault diagnostic device is configured in the following manner. A causal relation table stores causal relations between faults and events, and a monitor event selector refers to the causal relation table to extract a minimum event required for identifying a fault, and sets the event as a monitor event. The acquisition-event selector selects events from the causal relation table based on latest fault candidates, and sets priorities of the events selected, in the order of efficiently identifying faults. The event acquiring unit requests events in the order of the priorities set, and the event receiving unit receives each event in response to the respective requests. The fault determining unit narrows down the candidates of the fault based on the events received one by one.

  • Publication number: 20070047508
Abstract: To achieve end-to-end quality guarantee in regard to communication with a mobile terminal (node) in a carrier network in which Mobile IP is presupposed, in an IP network, quality guarantee is realized by performing network resource reservation in a resource reservation server receiving a resource reservation request from a node. The resource reservation server receives the resource reservation request, and decides whether the node initiating the resource reservation request is a mobile node. When the above resource reservation request is initiated from the mobile node, resource reservation is performed for the route between the mobile node and the correspondent node via a mobility management server having a home address of the mobile node.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a first recording medium, a password input unit, a password judging unit, and a condition judging unit. The first recording medium is capable of recording programs and data. The password input unit requests a user to input a password. The password judging unit judges whether a password inputted to the password input unit and a password stored in advance coincide with each other. The condition judging unit judges, when the apparatus is started, whether a condition set in advance is satisfied. When the condition set in advance is satisfied, the information processing apparatus sets a self-erasing program in the first recording medium. • Publication number: 20060209891
Abstract: When receiving a streaming service from a service provision server, a user terminal wants QoS assurance and issues a QoS request to a QoS control server together with a communicate request to a network. In this case, by including information about a plurality of access networks that the user terminal can access in a QoS request message, a QoS control server can optimally allocate resources in the current environment of the user terminal and assure. QoS. In this case, the format of this QoS request can accompany a communicate request from the user terminal or be independent of the communicate request.

  • Patent number: 7095269
Abstract: When the substrate bias voltage Vbb lowers by the pumping operation of the charge pump circuit, a drain-to-source resistance of the N-transistor becomes high. When a first power supply voltage Vcc is set at high value, a drain-to-source current of the N-transistor increases (I+?I1), however the drain-to-source current decreases (I+?I1??I2) by the increase of the drain-to-source current owing to the substrate bias effect so that the increase of the potential of the node N34 caused by the increase of the first power supply voltage VCC is restrained. As a result, a reference level of the substrate bias voltage Vbb does not largely lower than the reference level of the substrate bias voltage. Vbb when the first power supply voltage VCC is in a standard level.

  • Patent number: 7083681
Abstract: A method for forming a coating film on an internal surface of an elongated tube, includes longitudinally holding the elongated tube, applying a coating solution to the internal surface of the elongated tube; and drying the coating solution while carrying out a heat process for sequentially heating the elongated tube by using a heat source. The heat process includes adjusting the descending rate of the heat source so that a through-hole in the elongated tube is clogged with the coating solution whose viscosity is reduced by heating of the heat source, and sucking the through-hole in the elongated tube from the lower side thereof so that a portion of the through-hole that is clogged with the coating solution moves downwards along the elongated tube.

  • Publication number: 20060119247
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a gas discharge tube by closing an opening of a glass tube by forming a glass layer with outer peripheral shape identical to the outer peripheral shape of the glass tube on an end face of the glass tube. An open end face (opening) of the glass tube is pressure-welded to a dry film containing a low melting point glass powder and a binder resin, and then the glass tube is lifted up to transfer the dry film for closing the opening to the end face of the glass tube. A phosphor support member is inserted into the glass tube from a side opposite to the end face and then an end of the phosphor support member is caused to adhere to the dry film. The binder resin is burnt off, and the dry film is vitrified to produce a low melting point glass layer.

  • Publication number: 20060103292
Abstract: A gas discharge tube includes a thin tube having a discharge space therein and an electron emissive coating formed within the thin tube. The thin tube has a display surface on which a pair of display electrodes is adapted to be disposed, and has a rear surface on which a signal electrode is adapted to be disposed. A surface portion facing toward the display surface is formed within the thin tube at a location nearer to the display surface from the midway between the display and rear surfaces. An electron emissive coating is formed on the surface portion. Thus the gas discharge tube can reduce its firing voltage without lowering the light-emission efficiency.
