  • Publication number: 20200031184
Abstract: A tire position exchange proposal device calculates an inclination of degradation degree of tires per mounted position, calculates a degree of degradation of each tire in the first maintenance period according to a variation in degradation degree, calculates a degree of degradation of each tire in the second maintenance period for different tire position exchange patterns when a positional exchange of the tires is performed in the first maintenance period, selects a maximum degree of degradation from the degrees of degradation of the tires in the second maintenance period for each of the tire position exchange patterns, and selects a tire position exchange pattern to be proposed to a user in which the maximum degree of degradation is smaller than a reference value.

  • Publication number: 20050264522
Abstract: An input device that performs an input operation to an information technology device such as a computer is provided. The input device has a switch arranged at a finger part of a hand and for outputting a signal corresponding to a pressing operation, and a position detecting unit for detecting a movement of the hand and outputting a detection signal. Thus, as a movement of the hand is associated with a movement of a cursor and an operation of a finger of the hand is associated with an operation of click button, it is possible to realize a data input device that has a simple structure, enables simple operation and can be easily used.

  • Patent number: 5638507
Abstract: Herein disclosed is a duplex computer system to be used in process automations or factory automations. The system is constructed of two computer (or processor) systems connected with a common backplane bus and a plurality of I/O units to be controlled by those computer systems. Each of these systems is composed of a CPU having a self-diagnosis function for outputting a ready signal indicating whether or not its operations can be normally accomplished, a communication interface unit for interfacing with the backplane bus, and a duplex control unit that receives the ready signal output from the CPU in order to determine which of the computer systems is to be brought into a control status while the other is brought into a standby status.

  • Patent number: 5390132
Abstract: A distributed control system comprising a control station and a remote input/output device interconnected by a bus, wherein the system is provided with a continuation transmission service which first transmits an urgent output only and then performs cyclic scan transmission; an initialization start transmission service which first performs cyclic scan transmission for input only; an interruption duration measuring feature which measures the period of transmission interruption; and a control feature which activates the continuation transmission service when the result of the measurement is shorter than a predetermined period of time, and which activates the initialization start transmission service when the result of the measurement is longer than the predetermined period of time. Thus, for example, after a power supply failure, the system can rapidly recover and shift to normal process controlling operation without the delays normally experienced by prior control systems.

  • Patent number: 5349523
Abstract: A switching power supply comprising a converting circuit; an analog-to-digital converter for converting a signal referring to an output signal from the converting circuit into digital form; a parallel-to-series converter for converting a bit train signal containing the output signal from the analog-to-digital converter into a pulse train; an isolation means for transmitting the pulse train to the primary winding of a transformer while concurrently electrically isolating the pulse train; a series-to-parallel converter for demodulating the pulse train into a parallel signal; and a control circuit. The converting circuit has a switching device which turns ON and OFF the voltage applied across the primary winding. The converting circuit provides rectification and smoothing of voltage induced in the secondary winding of the transformer, and supplies an output DC voltage to a load.

  • Patent number: 5289500
Abstract: A signal conditioner comprising a receiving part, a transmitting part, and a power supply part, wherein the main functions of these components are digitalized and common circuit elements are used for different functions. Signal conditions may be of several different types, each of which is a hardware which can accommodate various transmitters and actuators.
