    Abstract: Free-flowing, phosphate ester compositions for post addition to detergents are provided which comprise a homogeneous mixture of ethoxylated higher alkyl mono- and di- esters of phosphoric acid and including a mixture of mono- and di- lower alkyl esters of phosphoric acid in combination with finely divided silica having a surface area of over 10 square meters per gram. These compositions are useful additives for detergent compositions to give them a laundry softening capability.
