For this, the present invention provides a home appliance which enables power cable communication therewith, including a body (10) forming an exterior of the home appliance, a main control unit (20) at the body (10), for making various kinds of control of the home appliance, and a power cable communication modem (230) at the body (10), for transmission/reception of various kinds of data to/from a remote monitor which monitors the home appliance, remotely.

Abstract: A control panel of a drum type washing machine is disclosed. The present invention includes a cabinet, a control panel assembled to the cabinet, a plurality of operational buttons provided to the control panel, a deco panel assembled to the control panel, and a display unit provided to the deco panel. Accordingly, the present invention facilitates the deco panel to be assembled to the control panel despite a flesh formed on a rim of the deco panel and sustains the assembled state.

Abstract: A drum type washing machine is disclosed. The drum type washing machine includes a tub for holding wash water; a bearing housing laid in a rear wall of the tub, the bearing housing having a fastening groove part having a stator of a motor fastened thereto; and a contact-proof-part for preventing the fastening groove part of the bearing housing and a stator fastening part from being directly contacted with each other. An object of the present invention is to provide a drum type washing machine which can reduce noise generated by collision between a fastening groove part of a bearing housing and a stator fastening part by means of an improved structure of a tub.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for water supply in a laundry device which prevents detergent from remaining/being stuck in/to a dispenser body by discharging detergent/wash water more smoothly. A method for water supply in a laundry device includes (a) step for supplying water; (b) step for temporarily stopping water supply for a predetermined time in the middle of the water supply; and (c) step for re-starting water supply after the predetermined time and finishing water supply to a predetermined water level.

A hinge assembly for a door of a laundry device which has a bracket fixed to a cabinet and a hinge arm having a first end rotatably connected to the bracket and a second end connected to a door, wherein at least two fastening holes fastened to the cabinet by a fastening unit are formed on an upper end portion and a lower end portion of the bracket, and the fastening holes of the lower end portion are formed at the same height. The fastening holes of the upper end portion are formed at the same height. An object of the present invention is to provide a hinge assembly for a door of a laundry device which can prevent damage or deformity thereof by dispersing the load of the door to each fastening portion of a hinge assembly.

Abstract: A detergent container of a washing machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a powdered detergent chamber to store powdered detergent, an outlet to discharge powdered detergent mixed with water in the powdered detergent chamber, a subsidiary detergent chamber to store bleach or fabric softner, a drain passage to guide powdered detergent mixed with water from the powdered detergent chamber to the outlet, and a bypass passage to allow powdered detergent mixed with water to bypass from the powdered detergent chamber to the drain passage. Even though an excessive volume of powdered detergent is placed in the powdered detergent chamber and the drain passage is clogged, powdered detergent mixed with water can be drained from the detergent container through the bypass passage, thus powdered detergent can be supplied to a tub of the washing machine without a hitch.
