    Abstract: Disclosed is a PHD protein regulating the differentiation of plant phloem; a recombinant vector containing a gene encoding the same; a plant transformed with the recombinant vector; a seed of the plant; and a method for regulating the development and formation of plant phloem by using the gene encoding the PHD protein. Regulated is the development of phloem, which plays the role in moving a photosynthetic product and finally storing the same in starch and sugar forms in a plant storage organ, so as to regulate the function of phloem, thereby having an effect of controlling the size and storage capacity of the plant storage organ. The development of phloem can be improved by allowing the PHD gene to be silent in plants, and thus it is expected that the function of plant phloem can be increased through the regulation of PHD gene expression by using genetic engineering techniques.

    Abstract: A repair path is established between a sub-pixel with a defective drive transistor and another sub-pixel with an operable drive transistor to connect storage capacitors in the two sub-pixels in parallel. Another repair path is established to operate a light emitting device by the operable drive transistor of the second sub-pixel. Terminals of the storage capacitors in the two pixels are connected to a gate of the operable drive transistor. The voltage at the terminals of the storage capacitors are maintained above the threshold voltage of the operable drive transistor is switched on for a longer time due to the combined capacitance of the two storage capacitance. Hence, the sub-pixel with the defective drive transistor and the other sub-pixel of the operable drive transistor remain turned on for a longer time.

    Abstract: Provided are a composition containing ABI3 gene and a method of delaying flowering of plants using the same. The method has an excellent effect on delaying of flowering of plants. In the previously known method of delaying the flowering of plant, since flowering is delayed by silencing the expression of a gene for promoting flowering, it is difficult to regulate a degree of delaying of flowering. Also, since a gene silencing method such as RNAi is used, it is not easy to produce an actual transgenic plant and thus it is difficult to use for industry. However, ABI3 gene acts in a manner which delays flowering when expression increases, and thus it is easy to regulate the degree of delay in flowering and to produce a transgenic plant. Thus, it is expected that the present disclosure can be effectively applied to increase the productivity of crops by delaying flowering time or blocking flowering in plants of which vegetative tissue or leaves are used.

The multi-core fuel rod in accordance with the present invention provides a minimized contact surface area between nuclear fuel and aluminum, and reduces the formation of pores and swelling by restraining formation of reaction layer to avoid excessive reaction between the fuel and aluminum. Therefore, improved stability of nuclear fuel can be obtained by minimizing temperature rise as well as achieving high density and thermal conductivity of the fuel.
