  • Patent number: 8259622
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for providing a packet network-based MRBT service. In the method, when an originating MSC (110) requests call termination location information from an HLR (120), the HLR transmits an MRBT service request message, including a calling number and a called number, to an MRBT server (140). The MRBT server returns an MRBT service response message, including URL of MRBT content, to the HLR. The HLR transmits a call termination location information response message to the originating MSC, with MRBT service ID information and called party MRBT content URL information included in the call termination location information response message. The originating MSC (110) transmits called party MRBT content URL information to an originating MS (100) on a basis of the MRBT service ID information. The originating MS accesses the MRBT content URL, downloads relevant MRBT content, and plays and stores the MRBT content.

  • Patent number: 8238918
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of performing handover from an asynchronous mobile communication network to a synchronous mobile communication network. If the access network of the asynchronous mobile communication network (100) requests handover to an MSC (104) of the asynchronous mobile communication network, the MSC requests/receives subscriber information of the mobile communication terminal from a dual-stack HLR (300), and transmits a handover request message to the synchronous mobile communication network (200). The MSC (203) of the synchronous mobile communication network assigns a forward channel to the mobile communication terminal. The asynchronous mobile communication network (100) transmits a handover instruction message to the asynchronous RF device of the mobile communication terminal. Accordingly, the mobile communication terminal sets up a synchronous RF device, connects to the synchronous mobile communication network through reverse channel assignment and synchronization.

  • Patent number: 8236682
Abstract: Provided is a method of forming a contact structure. The method includes forming a conductive pattern on a substrate. An interlayer insulating layer covering the conductive pattern is formed. The interlayer insulating layer is patterned to form an opening partially exposing the conductive pattern. An oxide layer is formed on substantially the entire surface of the substrate on which the opening is formed. A reduction process is performed to reduce the oxide layer. Here, the oxide layer on a bottom region of the opening is reduced to a catalyst layer, and the oxide layer on a region other than the bottom region of the opening is reduced to a non-catalyst layer. A nano material is grown from the catalyst layer, so that a contact plug is formed in the opening.

  • Patent number: 8188512
Abstract: A method of growing a germanium (Ge) epitaxial thin film having negative photoconductance characteristics and a photodiode using the same are provided. The method of growing the germanium (Ge) epitaxial thin film includes growing a germanium (Ge) thin film on a silicon substrate at a low temperature, raising the temperature to grow the germanium (Ge) thin film, and growing the germanium (Ge) thin film at a high temperature, wherein each stage of growth is performed using reduced pressure chemical vapor deposition (RPCVD). The three-stage growth method enables formation of a germanium (Ge) epitaxial thin film characterized by alleviated stress on a substrate, a lowered penetrating dislocation density, and reduced surface roughness.

  • Publication number: 20120100497
Abstract: The present invention relates to a burner using plasma, which uses a mixture fuel in which water and industrial waste oil are mixed at an appropriate ratio. A combustion tank has a positive electrode (+), a rod installed at one side of the combustion tank has a negative electrode (?), and direct current electricity is supplied to the combustion tank and to the rod from a direct current electricity supply unit. A steam supply pipe of a steam generator is installed together with a plasma torch unit which is coupled to the combustion tank, such that high-temperature steam is discharged from the steam supply pipe together with the plasma torch generated by the plasma torch unit. Thus, the high-temperature plasma torch generates a high-temperature plasma flame of 800° C. or higher to heat a combustion chamber at the inner wall of the combustion tank.

  • Patent number: 8136052
Abstract: A touch screen device and an operating method thereof are provided. The touch screen device is operated by touching a touch screen and moving a touch while the touch is maintained on the screen. A detector detects a touch point and a moving trajectory, and a controller selects a user command based on the detected touch point and moving trajectory. Then, when the user releases the touch, the controller executes the user command. User commands are classified and stored in a storage device and then executed by the controller based on operation modes associated with the device. A variety of user commands may be executed even though not all the menus are not displayed on the screen at once. Further, a user may cancel an erroneously entered user command quickly and easily.
