    Abstract: A device and method for executing a reserved function using time information extracted from a broadcasting data that provides a correct time in asynchronous mobile communication terminal are provided. The method of executing a reserved function in a mobile communication terminal includes: when a broadcasting function is executed, performing (1) extracting a time information from received broadcasting data, (2) calculating a time difference between a time of the extracted time information and a corresponding operating time of the mobile communication terminal, and (3) storing the calculated time difference as a time difference information; and if a reservation time for executing a specific function is set and when the operating time reaches the set reservation time based on the stored time difference information, executing the specific function.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for automatically connecting a video communication between mobile stations in an emergency, wherein a mobile station in an emergency calls another mobile station and, even if there is no response from it, the video connection can be made automatically. The method includes the steps of selecting an automatic emergency response mode so that a first mobile station in an emergency calls a second mobile station and automatically connects to it; making an emergency call from the first mobile station, which is in the automatic emergency response mode, to the second mobile station; and automatically connecting the video communication between the first and second mobile stations, when the first mobile station makes a call even if the second mobile station does not respond to it.

    Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for providing digital broadcasting using a PIP function of a portable terminal. The method includes: transmitting a request message based on additional broadcasting information; receiving an entitlement management message (EMM) corresponding to the request message; and decrypting the EMM, displaying pay-per-view broadcasts while displaying advertisements through the PIP screen, simultaneously. The system and apparatus are configured to perform the method. Therefore, users can view pay-digital broadcasts for free, as advertising is broadcasted through the PIP screen during the pay-digital broadcasts. The broadcasting service providers can apportion charges to one or more sponsors corresponding to advertisement view times recorded in a billing server.
