Abstract: A user equipment to generate augmented reality (AR) tag information includes a photographing unit to capture an image of a target object, an information collecting unit to collect contextual information when the photographing unit captures the image of the target object, and a control unit to generate AR tag information of the target object based on the contextual information. A method for generating AR tag information in a user equipment includes capturing an image of a target object, collecting contextual information when capturing the image of the target object, and generating AR tag information of the target object based on the contextual information.
