  • Patent number: 9506679
Abstract: In a heat pump system according to the present invention, at least part of a plurality of outdoor heat-exchanging flow paths that pass through an outdoor heat exchanger is alternately selected as a flow path for defrosting and is used, and the other flow path is used as a flow path for evaporation so that defrosting and a heating operation can be simultaneously performed. In addition, the refrigerant in which a defrosting action is performed, while passing through the outdoor heat exchanger, is throttled and then is used for an evaporation action so that the structure of the heat pump system is simple and both heating and defrosting can be performed.

  • Patent number: 9372015
Abstract: A heat pump system includes a liquid receiver valve that adjusts the amount of a refrigerant stored in a liquid receiver so that a circulation amount of the refrigerant that circulates the heat pump system can be adjusted according to a driving speed of a compressor and performance of the compressor and the heat pump system can be further improved. Also, since a plurality of liquid receiver refrigerant outlets can be selectively opened using a pressure difference between an inlet and an outlet of the compressor, active control can be performed.

  • Patent number: 9297560
Abstract: A dehumidifier for a compressor, including: a plurality of dehumidifying members that absorb moisture; and a flow passage controlling valve module that enables a low-temperature vapor refrigerant to alternately flow into the plurality of dehumidifying members and enables the low-temperature refrigerant to flow into a compressor in a state where moisture contained in the low-temperature refrigerant is absorbed and is removed, enables a high-temperature vapor refrigerant ejected from the compressor to alternately flow into the dehumidifying members and regenerates the dehumidifying members. Thus, since a liquid-state absorbent contained in a refrigerant flowing into the compressor is removed by the dehumidifier, damage caused by liquid compression and corrosion of the compressor can be reduced. In addition, the structure of the dehumidifier is simple, and an additional external heating source is not required.

  • Publication number: 20150204590
Abstract: A variable volume receiver for a refrigerating cycle, according to the present invention, can adjust the capacity of storing a refrigerant according to changes in driving conditions, such as outside air temperature or a load-side temperature, and can secure a proper degree of sub-cooling even when the driving conditions change, thereby providing the advantage of enabling optimum driving regardless of changes in the outside air temperature or the load-side temperature.

  • Patent number: 8646272
Abstract: There is provided a Rankine cycle system which generates electricity by using heat as an energy source, in which a conventional pump for carrying a working fluid is not used, thereby reducing the cost of manufacturing the Rankine cycle system, saving the electric power consumed to operate the pump and therefore obtaining a greater output of power, and in which a control system is used to automatically operate the Rankine cycle system, thereby enabling to stably operate the Rankine cycle system even though a heat source is intermittently supplied.
