  • Publication number: 20040086395
Abstract: Disclosed is a mounting structure of a blower for a vacuum cleaner comprising a mounting cover for fixing the blower to a body base so that the blower is structurally separated from a body cover. The mounting cover is put on the upper surface of the blower disposed on supporting ribs, and connected to the body base, and then the body cover is put on the body base. The blower is fixedly interposed between the supporting ribs and the mounting cover and separated from the body cover, thereby preventing oscillation generated by the blower from being transmitting to the body cover and then preventing the oscillation of the body cover and the consequently occurring noise of the body cover.

  • Patent number: 6677564
Abstract: A blower apparatus which is used inside an Over-The-Range (OTR) microwave oven and the like, includes a centrifugal fan, a bracket which is fixed and combined with a side of the driving unit and a fan housing having a suction port which rotably accommodates the centrifugal fan, is fixed and combined with the bracket, and is formed in the shaft direction of the centrifugal fan, for sucking gas by rotation of the centrifugal fan, and a discharge port for discharging gas which is sucked through the suction port, being formed vertically to the suction port. The edge of the discharge port is formed in a convex shape in the shaft direction by the first inclined surface of a protrusion portion which is protruded in the shaft direction from the bracket and second inclined surface formed in the fan housing, and an inflection point is formed at the contact point of the first inclined surface and second inclined surface.

  • Patent number: 6615447
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a case having a collection chamber including a filter for removing extraneous matter mixed with air sucked in through main suction channels and an apparatus chamber including a fan motor assembly for generating suction force and discharging intake air behind the collection chamber and a peripheral air suction unit connected between the external surface of the case and the main suction channels or between the external surface of the case and the inside of the collection chamber in addition to the main suction channels, the peripheral air suction unit sucking up the air around the case. It is possible to suck up dust that floats in the air around the vacuum cleaner, caused by air discharged when the vacuum cleaner is used and to purify the air. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the inconvenience of a user and to improve cleaning efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6411000
Abstract: A motor with a cooling mean is provided which includes a rotation axis, a rotator assembly fixed to the rotation axis, a stator assembly that surrounds the rotator assembly, a bearing attached to both ends of the rotation axis to support the rotation axis, an axial-flow fan or a hybrid fan used as a cooling means places between each bearing and the rotator assembly to cool the stator assembly and the rotator assembly, and an endshield attached to both ends of a housing to protect the structure. The motor with a cooling means further includes a plurality of air intakes; a plurality of through holes attached to the rotator assembly to circulate the air, and a plurality of concave grooves or cooling pins formed in a surface of the endshield to enlarge the cooling area to discharge the heat in the inside of the motor. Thereby, the cooling efficiency is substantially improved, the operation of the motor becomes more stable, and the life span of the motor is increased.
