  • Patent number: 8477511
Abstract: A package structure and an electronic apparatus of the package structure are disclosed. The package structure includes a substrate and a plurality of pins. The plurality of pins is disposed on the substrate. The plurality of pins is interlaced to each other, so that a line along a specific direction will only pass one of the plurality of pins at most.

  • Publication number: 20120327607
Abstract: A package structure of transient voltage suppressor is disclosed. The package structure comprises a package housing with a bottom thereof having a first contact pin, a second contact pin, and a third contact pin, wherein the third contact pin is positioned between the first contact pin and the second contact pin. A first diode is positioned in the package housing, and an anode and a cathode of the first diode are respectively connected with the third contact pin and the first contact pin. A second diode is installed in the package housing, and an anode and a cathode of the second diode are respectively connected with the third contact pin and the second contact pin.

  • Patent number: 6490288
Abstract: An address memory structure used in an Ethernet switch, comprising an index memory and an address table memory is disclosed. The index memory is used for storing the vendor code section and the address table memory is used for storing the serial code section. The vendor code index data connects the index memory data to the address table memory data. When comparing the node addresses, the serial code section in the address table memory is compared first. If there is a consistent entry, the corresponding vendor code section is compared through the vendor code index data. When adding a new node address, the corresponding vendor code index data is attained, and the vendor code index data and the serial code of the node address are then written into the address table memory.

  • Patent number: 6442174
Abstract: A method for saving power in a network system, such as the Ethernet. Assume that all nodes in the network system can support at least two transmission protocols, such as 10 BaseT and 100 BaseTX in the Ethernet. First, network nodes may continuously detect the status of the network system and determine whether the network is in an idle state. If the idle period exceeds a pre-determined period, a first auto-negotiation function, in which priorities of the transmission protocols are inversely proportional to the power consumption, will be activated to select 10 BaseT. When the network system attempts to transmit data, a second auto-negotiation function, in which priorities of the transmission protocols are directly proportional to the data transmission performance, will be activated to select 100 BaseTX.

  • Patent number: 6167515
Abstract: A method and system for performing private transmission between some special network nodes of a public network. First, a network node serving as a transmitter sends a format packet incorporating user-defined check polynomial coefficients to another network node serving as a receiver. The receiver network node separates the coefficient information and loads it to a universal checker. While transmitting the private data, packets containing the private data have a check data generated by using the user-defined coefficients. Then the receiver network node can employ the universal checker to verify the reception of these packets containing the private data. When the private data transmission finishes, the transmitter network node sends a recovery packet to the receiver network node for ending the private data transmission.
