    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device and method for controlling radar sensors. According to an embodiment, a device for controlling a radar sensor comprises a receiver receiving first detection target information from a first radar sensor and receiving second detection target information from a second radar sensor spaced apart from the first radar sensor by a predetermined distance, a determiner determining whether the second detection target information is present in a similarity target monitoring area set to include the first detection target information, if the first detection target information is received, and a controller detecting whether the first radar sensor and the second radar sensor are misaligned using the first detection target information and the second detection target information if the similarity target monitoring area includes the first detection target information and the second detection target information.

The apparatus includes: a track sorter, configured to select a reference track from among a plurality of tracks generated based on sensing data captured by a radar sensor and to sort one or more sorted tracks that satisfy a preset filter condition, based on the reference track; a histogram generator, configured to extract transverse location information of the reference track and the one or more sorted tracks for a preset period and generate a short-term histogram and a long-term histogram having transverse locations of the reference track and each of the sorted tracks as factors; and an identifier configured to identify a mirror track based on a histogram similarity using the short-term histogram and the long-term histogram for the reference track and each of the sorted tracks.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device and method for detecting vertical misalignment of a vehicle radar device and vehicle radar device with the same. A radar device according to an embodiment determines a monitoring range including the ground in front by using the radar signal, determines an error of vertical angles for a number of ground distances within the monitoring range, and detects the vertical mounting misalignment of the radar device by using the error. According to embodiments, it is possible to accurately determine the vertical mounting misalignment of the radar device even if there is a road surface non-uniformity, road slope, or radar beam width change.
