    Abstract: An adhesive composition useful for bonding silicone and other peroxide-cured elastomers is disclosed. The adhesive comprises a solvent, a crosslinker and a film former reactive with the elastomer for bonding the elastomer to a substrate. Preferably, the crosslinker is at least one organic compound having at least two maleimide groups, and the film former is a block copolymer with a polysilicone segment and a hard segment. A method of bonding an elastomer to a substrate, a composite and an article of manufacture are also disclosed.
