Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include a via structure and methods of forming the via structure. In an embodiment, the via structure comprises a substrate and an opening through the substrate. In an embodiment, the opening has a first portion and a second portion under the first portion. In an embodiment, the via structure further comprises a lining on sidewalls of the first portion of the opening, and a via filling the opening. In an embodiment, the via has a first region with a first width and a second region with a second width, wherein the first width is smaller than the second width.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cosmetic composition that contains at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) in the form of particles having an average diameter (d50) from 0.1 nm to 50 ?m. The PHA may comprise between 0.1% w/w and 30% w/w of the total cosmetic composition, and some embodiments may utilize between 1% w/w and 8% w/w. The composition may include a silicone external phase or may be in the form of a loose or packed powder. Various PHAs may be utilized, although advantageously, the PHA may have a chain length 1 and 8 carbons. In some embodiments, the PHA may be selected to have an oil absorption of between 60 to 150 grams of a desired oil per 100 grams of PHA, where the desired oil may be, e.g., sebum. Further, the composition may optionally include one or more pigments. In use, the composition may be applied to a user's skin or hair.

Abstract: A method is provided for water leak detection that uses radio waves in which an antenna transmits a repeated pattern of radio waves that reflect from wet areas, antennas receive the reflected radio waves, signal analysis is done on the received radio waves to determine the location of the wet areas on an indoor map. Other systems and embodiments of the invention are described and shown.

Abstract: This patent mentioned the synthesis of new metal-organic framework based on hexameric titanium-oxo cluster. The novel material, termed MOF-902, was successfully synthesized and its crystal structure uncovered the 2-Dimensional (2D) layer structure generated by the link of trigonal prism Ti6O6(OMe)(—COO)6 clusters and imine linear linking units. The permanent porosity of MOF-902 is 400 m2 g?1. The band gap energy of this material was found to be 2.5 eV which is suitable to catalyze the polymerization reaction of methacrylate monomers under visible irradiation.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer usable program product for automatic planning of service requests are provided in the illustrative embodiments. At an application executing in a computer, information is located in a ticket corresponding to the service request, the information being usable for categorizing the ticket. Using the information, a set of records is selected from a ticket history repository, the set of records including data representing a set of tickets processed before the ticket. A second ticket in the set of tickets includes information corresponding to the information in the ticket being processed. A category of the second ticket is selected as a suggested category for the ticket. A priority associated with the suggested category is identified. The suggested category and the priority are recommended for the ticket.

Abstract: In a computing network containing multiple computing devices, a network card in a computing device provides the ability for the computing device to transmit specific types of information while the computing device is in an inactive state. The network card contains processing capabilities that enable it to detect and receive an inquiry directed to that device, process the inquiry, retrieve the requested data which is stored in the network card and transmit that information to the requestor. The ability of the network card to perform this enables system administrators to perform certain system maintenance functions while a computer may be in a power off or hibernate state instead if having to power on the computing device.

A user configures a plurality of endnotes in order to assign one of the endnotes to a recipient address. Each endnote may include signature text (e.g., name, phone number, etc.), as well as images, web page links, and/or animation, which add to the aesthetics and personalization of a constructed email message. When a user creates an email message that includes one or more email recipient addresses, an endnote manager analyzes each email recipient address and automatically selects one of the configured endnotes based on the email recipient's assigned endnote category. In addition, a user may configure the endnote manager to select an endnote to include in an email messages based upon the time at which the email is created.

Abstract: A method and system for providing enhanced display capability for mobile phones and handheld devices, such as Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), when such devices are within range of external display devices equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and display data receivers. The mobile phone searches for RFID tag-equipped external display devices, and upon locating such a device sends a request to the external device for connection and configuration information. Once the connection and configuration information from the external display device is received by the mobile phone or handheld device, a process of automatic synchronization between the mobile phone and the external display device occurs. The output images of the mobile phone are then transmitted to the external display device, which includes the functionality or mechanisms to receive and regenerate the output images.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method, apparatus, and computer instructions for automatic e-mail response interruption based on user activity. An e-mail message having an “interrupt” type designation is sent from an originator, and directed to one or more recipients. The receiving e-mail client filters incoming messages and determines whether an e-mail contains an interrupt designation. If an interrupt designation is found, the e-mail client automatically displays content of the interrupt e-mail and any pending actions required of the recipient in a forefront position in the user interface, such as through a popup window. This content display may be valid until the recipient has responded to or completes the pending action specified in the e-mail. The present invention also analyzes the sender-recipient relationship to determine if the sender has the authority to issue an interrupt e-mail to the particular recipient.

A first set of RFID tag identifiers are obtained from an interrogation response signal or signals returned from the set of one or more RFID tags. A mathematical operation is performed on the first set of RFID tag identifiers to generate an RFID signature value, which is employed as an identifier for the person or the object within the data processing system with respect to a transaction that is performed by the data processing system on behalf of the person or the object.

If the initial recipient does not response to the message within the defined time period, the message will be sent to a designated alternate recipient. In this invention, there can be multiple alternate recipients. Each alternate can receive the message or there can be a priority among the alternate recipients.
