The method of generating a partial area of an image by using a generative model includes obtaining an image comprising information of the partial area, obtaining an intermediate generated image by inputting the image into a first generative model, the intermediate generated image comprising first image information corresponding to the partial area, and obtaining a final generated image comprising second image information by inputting the image and the intermediate generated image to a second generative model, the second image information being at least partially different from the first image information.

    Abstract: A method of editing an image by using a generative model includes receiving a user input for a movement of at least one object included in an input image; expanding the input image in a direction based on the movement of the at least one object; determining a generation required area based on the expanded input image, wherein the generation required area is an area in which generation of a partial image for the at least one object is required; generating the partial image for the at least one object in the generation required area by using at least one generative model; and outputting a recomposed image based on the input image and the partial image for the at least one object.

    Abstract: A method and a system for synthesizing a novel-view image based on multiple 360 images for 6DOF virtual reality, in which a large-scale 6-DOF virtual environment is implemented, and a scene is synthesized at a novel viewpoint, are provided. The method includes performing a 3D reconfiguration procedure for the 360 images to recover 3D geometric information, and to reconfigure a virtual data map in which the multiple 360 images are integrated into one image, producing a view image corresponding to a viewpoint of a user by applying a view synthesis algorithm of projection & vertex warping process using a reference image which is closest to a viewpoint extracted from the virtual data map, and blending view images for 6DoF through a section formula for inner split based on a distance between a position of the reference image and a position of the viewpoint.
