Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for wireless sharing of audio sounds among a plurality of users. A user of the present invention can communicate his or her audio sounds to other users, who can receive the audio sounds wirelessly and choose to rebroadcast them. Along with the audio sound files users can share information regarding the audio sounds being shared, such as title, artist, collection, genre, year, encoding rate, size, playlist, and other desired information. The user of device can opt to set the device to transmit, re-transmit, broadcast, re-broadcast, receive or not to receive play-list information in addition to the audio sound files and the information regarding the audio sounds themselves.

Abstract: A method and system operative to preclude content providers from tracking users, while still allowing content providers to communicate to users. An intermediary, such as an access channel provider for instance, gives content providers non-repeating user-identification-tokens, each of which a content provider can use as a key to access an intermediary resource that facilitates a communication to the user, without revealing the user's identity to the content provider.

The printed overlay layer includes an input region with a symbol that is at least partially translucent. The first light guide layer is disposed on a back side of the printed overlay layer to illuminate the symbol of the printed overlay layer in response to illumination of the first light guide layer. The second light guide layer is disposed on a front side of the printed overlay layer, opposite the first light guide layer. The second light guide layer includes a separate symbol that is distinct from the symbol of the printed overlay layer. The second light guide layer illuminates the separate symbol of the second light guide layer in response to illumination of the second light guide layer.

Abstract: A method and system for wireless access provider management of digital rights. A wireless carrier receives a content request transmitted from a given wireless client station. The carrier determines by reference to digital rights management data that the requested content is premium content and then determines if the requesting party has the right to obtain the content. If the party does not have the right to obtain the content, the wireless carrier may engage in a payment collection process, to collect the party's payment for the content. Upon determination that the requesting party has the right to obtain the content, the wireless carrier inserts an access-token into the content request and sends the content request, with the access-token, to the content provider. The content provider can then rely on the access-token as proof that the requesting party has the right to obtain the requested content.
