    Abstract: A device management method and apparatus is provided for managing electronic devices through wireless communication. A device management method of a first device having a list of wireless communication-enabled devices according to the present disclosure includes transmitting a first message requesting second device information, when it is necessary to check connection status of a second device performing wireless communication with the devices contained in the list, comparing the second device previously stored information and the second device information contained in the second message, when a second message including the second device information is received in response to the first message, and transmitting a recovery command message with the first device information, when the second device information included in the second message differs from the previously stored second device information.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device, a method for controlling the same, and a computer program product therefor. The electronic device includes: a communicator configured to communicate with at least one external apparatus; and a processor configured to: control the communication unit to start a connection with the at least one external apparatus, acquire location information on an object detected in a vicinity of the electronic apparatus, accept the started connection depending on whether the object exists in a zone in which the connection is allowed, based on the acquired location information, and transmit to the external apparatus information for completing the connection based on the connection being allowed. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance security, lighten a management burden imposed on the electronic apparatus, and reduce the time required to establish a wireless connection.

The electronic apparatus includes: a communicator which communicates with a terminal apparatus through a network; and a processor which receives routing information of the terminal apparatus, and based on a network key request being received from the terminal apparatus, generates a link key using the routing information, and transmits a network key encrypted with the generated link key to the terminal apparatus so that the terminal apparatus decrypts the transmitted network key with the link key based on the routing information.
