  • Publication number: 20160137047
Abstract: A driving apparatus of a vehicle includes an engine driven using energy obtained by combustion of fuel, and a driving motor directly connected to a crankshaft of the engine. The driving motor includes a rotor having the same rotation shaft as that of the crankshaft, and a stator coupled to the engine to be housed inside of the rotor to rotate the rotor. Therefore, fuel consumption can be improved and a structural design of an engine periphery of a hybrid vehicle can be diversified.

  • Patent number: 9106178
Abstract: An apparatus controlling an electric vehicle motor and a method to reduce torque ripple using the same are provided. A field current flowing in a rotor field coil is controlled by generating a negative phase ripple current with respect to torque ripple according to each position of the rotor, allowing torque ripple of the motor to be reduced without degrading output torque. Additionally, in an operation region of a high torque section, torque ripple is reduced by controlling a field current by increasing an AC component of a negative phase ripple current, and in an operation region of a low torque section, torque ripple is reduced by controlling a field current by decreasing an AC component of a negative phase ripple current. That is, torque ripple of a motor can be reduced by controlling only a field current.

  • Publication number: 20140117807
Abstract: A motor includes a plurality of tooth bodies extending from a rotor core. A pole shoe extends from an end of at least one tooth body at opposite sides where both sides of the pole shoe have a curved outer part opposite to each other and asymmetric to each other in that a radius of curvature of the curved outer part of the one side of the pole shoe that is in a rotational direction of the rotor has a smaller radius than a radius of curvature of the other side of the pole shoe that is not in the rotational direction of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20140117909
Abstract: A driving motor for an electric vehicle includes a rotor having a field coil wound thereon and a stator having an armature coil wound thereon. The driving motor includes a motor control unit to perform temperature based control between the stator and the rotor based on which one has a higher temperature than the other, in order reduce a current value to the one having the higher temperature than the other.
