  • Patent number: 10550743
Abstract: The invention relates to a cylinder head cover for an internal combustion engine which has, in addition to the mere covering function, additional integrated functions, wherein the cylinder head cover according to the invention includes the following: a cover body, which, when the cylinder head cover is assembled, is mounted on an engine block of the internal combustion engine and covers a cylinder head of the internal combustion engine; a separator, through which a raw gas stream can be conducted for the purpose of cleaning, the separator being at least partially formed and/or delimited by the cover body; and/or a valve device, which is at least partially formed and/or delimited by the cover body; wherein the cylinder head cover includes a nozzle device which is integrated in the separator and/or the valve device.

  • Patent number: 10041386
Abstract: In order to improve an oil separator unit, in particular an oil separator unit provided for vehicle drives, comprising an oil separator housing with a drainage system and a check valve unit which is formed from a valve seat and a valve element which comprises a valve member of an umbrella-like design and consisting of an elastomer, in such a manner that it can be produced as inexpensively as possible, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, the wear on the valve element is, however, considerably reduced or occurs to as low a degree as possible, it is suggested that the valve member of the valve element be held on an insert part and that the insert part be insertable, for its part, into an insert part receptacle in a valve housing.

  • Publication number: 20170241309
Abstract: In order to provide a drainage device, for example an oil drainage device used in particular for crankcase ventilation in motor vehicle engines, which reliably prevents an undesired liquid reflux and can be produced easily and inexpensively, it is proposed that the drainage device comprises a fluid line and a drainage valve arranged in the fluid line, wherein the drainage valve comprises a floating body that opens a fluid passage in an open position and closes it in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 9670808
Abstract: A separator for separating liquid droplets from an aerosol is provided, including a rotor arranged in a housing and including a plurality of parallel disks, a dirty gas inlet, a clean gas outlet, and an annular space between the rotor's circumference and the housing, wherein adjacent disks form an interspace therebetween, the radially outer area of the interspace opening into the annular space, and wherein one of the dirty gas inlet and the clean gas outlet communicates with the annular space and the other communicates with radially inner areas of the interspaces. The disks have flat disk bodies perpendicular to the rotor axis, and between adjacent disk bodies, there are a plurality of adjacent channels allowing passage of the gas to be cleaned. Each channel is curved and the radially outer channel wall forms an impaction and separation surface for the liquid droplets.
