  • Publication number: 20160273809
Abstract: A cold head for cryogenic machines comprises a displacer mounted in a working chamber of a housing. The cold head also has a high-pressure connection for supplying highly compressed refrigerant and a low-pressure connection for discharging expanded refrigerant. Also provided is a control valve arrangement for controlling the supply and discharge of refrigerant. • Publication number: 20140369809
Abstract: A turbomolecular pump has a rotor element in a housing. The rotor element is arranged on a rotor shaft. The rotor shaft is supported by two bearing elements in the housing. The bearing element on the high-vacuum side is constructed as a roller bearing. In order to guarantee a pressure in the area of the bearing element that is acceptable for the bearing element constructed as a roller bearing, the bearing element is arranged in a chamber. The chamber is connected via a channel to the pre-vacuum area and sealed relative to the high-vacuum area by a gasket.

  • Publication number: 20060254289
Abstract: A vacuum device comprises a plurality of cryopumps (10), particularly a plurality of cryopumps connected in parallel. Further, at least one compressor device (16) is provided which is connected to the cryopumps (10) via medium supply conduits (12). A medium return conduit (14) is also connected to the compressor device (16) and the cryopumps (10). Arranged between the medium supply conduit (12) and the medium return conduit (14) is a storage container (20) for medium. Further, a pressure measurement device (30) is provided in the medium supply conduit (12). The pressure measurement device (30) is connected, via a control unit (32), to a supply valve (26). To keep the pressure difference at the cryopumps (10) as constant as possible, the supply valve (26) is opened when a threshold value of the pressure in the medium supply conduit (12) is exceeded, thus causing medium to flow into the storage container (20).

  • Patent number: 5688142
Abstract: A connector position assurance system is provided for an electrical connector adapted to mate with another mateable connecting device. The connector includes a housing, and a primary locking arm is mounted on the housing for movement between a first position when the connector is fully mated with the mateable connecting device and second position of incomplete mating of the connector with the device. The primary locking arm includes a latch for mechanically interlocking with a cooperating latch of the mateable connecting device. A locking slider is mounted in a recessed area of the housing so as to be shrouded by the housing. The slider is slidable between a first position allowing movement of the locking arm and mating of the connector and the device, and a second position blocking movement of the locking arm from its first position with the connector and the device fully mated.

  • Patent number: 5092450
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for conveying and synchronizing the movement of articles. Two conveyor belts are thereby provided. A synchronizing device is arranged between the conveyor belts. The phase relationship of the individual articles and the speed of a receiving belt can be adjusted with the help of the synchronizing device. To facilitate the adjusting of the position of the articles and to make such adjusting more precise, the invention provides that the first and the second conveyor belt are moved at a faster speed than the receiving belt.
