One control devices is a master control device, and the one or more other control devices are slave control devices, wherein the master control device always has a functional priority relative to the slave control devices for controlling the heating elements of the cooking system. The master control device and the one or more slave devices allow two or more individuals to operates the cooking device using separate control devices.
