  • Publication number: 20120153523
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing polyurethane foam moldings of density from 100 to 300 g/L, by mixing (a) organic polyisocyanates with (b) polyols, (c) with blowing agents comprising water, and optionally (d) with chain extenders and/or with crosslinking agents, (e) with catalysts, and (f) with other auxiliaries and/or additives, to give a reaction mix-ture, charging the material to a mold, and permitting it to react completely to give a polyurethane foam molding, where the free density of the polyurethane foam is from 90 to 200 g/L, and the mold has at least one device for controlling gauge pressure. The present invention further relates to a polyurethane foam molding obtainable by this type of process, and to the use of this type of polyurethane molding as shoe sole.

  • Publication number: 20100190880
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a polyurethane molding having a density of 150 to 350 g/L, in which a) polyisocyanate prepolymers, obtainable from a polyisocyanate component (a-1), polyol (a-2), comprising polypropylene oxide, and chain extender (a-3), b) polyetherpolyols having a functionality greater than 2.0, c) polymer polyetherpolyols, d) chain extender, e) catalysts, f) blowing agent, comprising water, and, if appropriate, g) other assistants and/or additives are mixed with a reaction mixture and cured in a mold to give the polyurethane molding. The present invention furthermore relates to polyurethane moldings obtainable by a process according to the invention and to shoe soles comprising polyurethane moldings according to the invention.
