Publication number: 20240384890Abstract: A heating means installed in a pump for heating water during pumping has a tubular cylindrical holder that defines a heating chamber for the water. On the outside of the holder, a plurality of heating conductor tracks are connected together in series. The heating means is configured for operation of the pump in the horizontal state, such that its longitudinal axis extends horizontally. In this horizontal state, the heating means has a residual water level as a horizontal plane that lies roughly in the lower third. Apart from two heating conductor tracks, the heating conductor tracks extend below this residual water level, while said two heating conductor tracks extend above the residual water level. In the absence of cooling water on the inner surface of the heating chamber, they can overheat more quickly and be locally destroyed as an emergency safety device before the entire heating means is at risk of overheating.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2024Publication date: November 21, 2024Inventors: Manuel Schmieder, Matthias Mandl, Holger Köbrich, Roland Mühlnikel, Michael Tafferner, Volker Block

Publication number: 20230107249Abstract: A heating device comprises a tubular carrier with an outside and an inside, an insulating layer on the outside of the carrier, heating conductors, conductor tracks, and contact fields on the insulating layer, and a connection device for an electrical connection of the heating device, wherein the connection device has a plurality of metallic contact feet. The connection device is attached at the contact fields with the contact feet and is electrically connected thereto. Additional electrical insulation is arranged between the connection device and the outside of the carrier. This can be, for example, one of several individual insulating layers that together form the entire insulating layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2022Publication date: April 6, 2023Inventors: Matthias Mandl, Michael Tafferner, Volker Block, Manuel Schmieder, Holger Koebrich, Roland Muehlnikel, Alfred Suss, Sebastian Eigl

Publication number: 20220386420Abstract: The invention relates to a heating device having a flat expanded support and at least one heating conductor assembly thereon which is electrically connected by means of two connection contacts. The heating conductor assembly has a plurality of heating conductors which are connected together at connection points and are wired as a whole so as to form parallel and series circuits between the connection contacts. The plurality of heating conductors are advantageously designed as a lattice, wherein every set of four heating conductors forms a closed mesh, and four heating conductors are connected together at the connection points. The heating conductor assembly is applied onto the support with a film construction in a film method, advantageously a thick-film method.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 11, 2022Publication date: December 1, 2022Inventors: Matthias Mandl, Michael Tafferner, Thomas Hauk, Manuel Schmieder, Holger Koebrich, Roland Muehlnikel, Alfred Suss, Sebastian Eigl, Henry Zipplies, Volker Block

Patent number: 9816527Abstract: A pump for a dishwasher is configured as an impeller pump having a central water inflow to a rotating impeller for conveying the water in the radial direction out of the impeller into a pump chamber which surrounds the impeller in a ring-like manner and has a heated pump chamber wall on its outer side. Here, the pump has an outlet in the end region of the pump chamber at an axial spacing from the impeller. Heating elements which have a decreasing power output with regard to the area power output in the axial direction of the pump toward the outlet are arranged on the pump chamber wall. An input of energy into the pump chamber can thus be varied and in the process adapted depending on a turbulent or laminar flow.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2013Date of Patent: November 14, 2017Assignee: E.G.O.
