  • Patent number: 11227032
Abstract: Methods and associated systems are provided to perform a security posture assessment (PA) of a device based on a PA process implemented on a server but not statically stored on the device. The method includes generating, by the server, commands to be performed by a dynamic command executor on the device. The dynamic command executor is configured to dynamically launch and execute system modules on the device, based on the commands, to perform operations in the PA process. The commands and the results may be exchanged between the server and the device via a secure communication connection. The commands may be sent in a message with an encryption key that encrypts the messages, and the received command results may also be encrypted using the encryption key. By not statically storing the PA process on the device, the PA process is protected from reverse engineering attacks.

  • Patent number: 11086822
Abstract: A communication system and methods for data compression and the management of data transmitted between computing devices in a communication network are provided. Compression dictionaries generated from data previously maintained at a recipient computing device and a transmitting computing device are maintained at each respective device. The compression dictionaries are made up of fixed length data chunks from the data previously maintained on the computing device that can be matched to data to be compressed or de-compressed. Data can be transmitted without requiring the exchange of the compression dictionaries between the recipient computing device and the transmitting computing device.

  • Patent number: 10867445
Abstract: Content can be segmented into selectable sections for use with viewing devices such as virtual reality (VR) or three-dimensional (3D) headsets. Content to be displayed using such a device can be analyzed (dynamically or offline) to identify segments of the content. The content can be identified by, for example, locating existing segmentations, identifying regions having a minimum size, or identifying regions running along edges or full lengths/widths of the content, etc. A user can utilize a single device input to cause any of these sections to become a current focus of the display. As a current focus, the user can navigate, scroll, or otherwise manipulate the content or view within that section. Different types of input (i.e., a single or double tap, or long press) can be used to switch focus, interact with various elements, or perform other such actions.

  • Patent number: 10445412
Abstract: Systems and methods for the presentation content on client computing devices. A processing component inspects browse render tree elements to detect the aspects of browser content and replace those aspects with a visual cue. This allows the page to utilize the available display space for the dynamic aspects of the browser content. In response to an input from the mobile device, the browser can provide the previously static aspects of the browser content.

  • Patent number: 10389805
Abstract: Copies of content no longer available from a network location can be generated using content cached by client devices that have accessed that location. A service provider who collects information as to the locations accessed by these devices can determine which devices might have at least some of the content still in cache memory or other such storage. Client devices having accessed that location can be contacted to obtain copies of the content previously available. A number of the copies are compared and inconsistent content removed in order to prevent the disclosure of personalized or customized content. A tree or other structure of the page can be analyzed to ensure that the page will display properly and that comparable content is compared. When a version is generated that includes only consistent content consistent, that version can be provided as an accurate archive copy.

  • Publication number: 20140037713
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to compositions or formulations for transdermal or transmucosal administration of anti-cholinergic agents such as oxybutynin. The invention utilizes a novel delivery vehicle and is a substantially malodorous-free and irritation free transdermal formulation which is substantially live of long chain fatty alcohols, long-chain fatty acids, and long-chain fatty esters. A method is disclosed for treating a subject for hyperhidrosis with these formulations while reducing the incidences of peak concentrations of drug and undesirable side effects associated with oral anti-cholinergics.

  • Publication number: 20100217176
Abstract: The invention relates to a dermal flowable-composition dispenser that includes a body for retaining a supply of the composition, an application portion having an application surface, and a conduit connecting the supply chamber with the application surface for facilitating the reproducible delivery of a predetermined dose of the composition to the application surface. The application surface includes a concave application surface and a front side having an upper rim enclosing the application surface and forming a depression that has a volume that is greater than or equal to the volume of the predetermine dose. Also, the application surface is configured and dimensioned such it can receive the patient's skin to allow for removal of the predetermined dose of the composition, and wherein the concave application surface is shaped such that the entire application surface contacts the patient's skin when the application surface is pressed thereagainst.

  • Publication number: 20070179001
Abstract: A tensioning device for chain or belt drives, with a cylindrical tensioner housing (33), whose inner surface is constructed as a guide bore (34), in which a piston (35) is guided, with a compression spring (37) acting on the piston, which can move axially in the chain tensioning direction, and with a latch system (39) limiting the return stroke of the piston (35) in the tensioner housing (33). An additional elastic element, which acts in the axial direction and on which the tensioner housing (33) is supported, is arranged in front of or behind the tensioner housing (33). The additional elastic element is formed by a second compression spring (46) arranged in an additional cylindrical housing (48), with the tensioner housing (33) being inserted into the additional cylindrical housing (48) from one end.

  • Patent number: 6585958
Abstract: A pressure-liquefied propellant mixture for aerosols, comprising dinitrogen monoxide and a hydrofluoroalkane having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, in particular 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane and/or 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane, makes possible an improvement in the wetting properties of pharmaceutically active compounds, whereby the formulation problems existing with hydrofluoroalkanes can be overcome with respect to suspension and solution aerosols and thus improved medicinal aerosol formulations can be obtained. With the aid of dinitrogen monoxide, it is also possible to influence the pressure and thus the particle size distribution specifically and, by displacement of oxygen from the hydrofluoroalkanes, to improve the storage stability of oxidation-sensitive active compounds. If desired, the propellant mixture can additionally contain carbon dioxide.

  • Patent number: 6475467
Abstract: The use of solid, pharmaceutically acceptable salts of cromoglycic acid and/or nedocromil as carriers in a therapeutically and prophylactically inefficacious amount in suspension aerosol formulations of pharmaceutical active compounds improves the dispersion properties, increases the chemical and physical stability of moisture-sensitive active compounds, makes possible a more accurate dosage, in particular even of low-dose active compounds, and as a rule permits the abandonment of surface-active agents.
