  • Patent number: 12009181
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for identifying and compensating for variances between match networks. Each match network can be calibrated at the factory against a golden load and a reference load to turn a generalized model of the match network into an operation model. The operation model can be stored with the match network or shipped with the match network, and used by an operator to determine a correction factor during processing. This correction factor can be used to adjust a generator setpoint, frequency, or aspects of the match network.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 11, 2021
Date of Patent: June 11, 2024
    Assignee: Advanced Energy Industries, Inc.
Inventors: Denis Shaw, Holger Philipp Kley, Suryan Emani

  • Patent number: 8116566
Abstract: A pattern recognition system compares a set of unlabeled images (or other patterns) having a variation of state in a set-by-set comparison with individual data sets of multiple labeled images (or other patterns) also having a variation of state. The individual data sets are each mapped to a point on a parameter space (e.g., a Grassmannian manifold, a Stiefel manifold, a flag manifold, etc.), and the set of unlabeled images is mapped to a point in the same parameter space. If the point associated with the set of unlabeled images satisfies a distance criterion on the parameter space with regard to one of the points on the parameter space, the data set of unlabeled images is assigned to the class attributed to that point.

  • Patent number: 7637194
Abstract: The invention relates to the field explosives technology and concerns a method and a device in which the explosive materials are removed from their casings. The object of the solution according to the invention is to disclose a method and a device with which explosives-containing bodies with non-uniform dimensions and also with internal attachments can be safely opened and dismantled. The object is attained through a method in which a strip of casing material is removed up to a residual wall thickness by means of machining tools, subsequently pressure is applied on the casing by means of a pressing tool and then the explosive material is removed from the casing by means of melting or by means of pressing. The object is further attained through a device comprising a device for removing a chip and a device for applying pressure on the explosives-containing bodies and devices for transporting the explosives-containing body.
