Abstract: A mould for injection moulding a closure assembly having a cap and lid includes a first and second mould part moveable with respect to each other. The lid includes a nipple made from a first material. The cap includes a dispensing passage to be sealed by the nipple and is made from a second material. The mould includes a holder adapted for receiving a pre-formed body with the nipple. This holder holds the body and nipple in place in a closure cavity for moulding the closure assembly. The holder includes a core having a recess for receiving the nipple. The holder further includes a tube part for insertion into the tubular nipple. This tube part can be connected with a suction source.

Abstract: The invention relates to a flap closure comprising a closure body and a flap cover, which are connected to one another via hinge and via tensioning band creating a snap-effect when opening or closing the flap cover. When unloaded the tensioning band has at least three cross sectional curved sections and a substantially straight section between two neighbouring sections, which are not curved in opposing directions. Alternatively, when unloaded, the tensioning band has a cross sectional distance from a tangent at a central line between the edges of the tensioning band at a connection point of the tensioning band with the closure body or with the flap cover to the axis of rotation of the hinge that is a maximum of three times the size and preferably half the size of the thickness of the tensioning band at the respective connection point. Thus, breaking or tearing of the tensioning band rarely occurs.

Abstract: The invention is a container having at least two product chambers connected to form a common multi-chamber container system. Each of the product chambers includes at least one product discharge opening and the product discharge openings open into a common outlet channel. At least one of the product chambers includes at least one discharge valve device provided in the area of the product discharge opening that permits the discharge of a substance located in the product chamber but prevents return flow of the discharged substance into the product chamber. The discharge valve device also permits the admission of air into the product chamber.

Abstract: Valve device for arrangement in the area of a container opening and for metered discharge of a medium from the container, comprising a first valve that seals the container opening as long as a pressure difference between the interior of the container and the exterior of the container is smaller than a first predetermined limit value and that opens the container opening for the medium when the pressure difference between the interior of the container and the exterior of the container is greater than the first predetermined limit value, and a second valve that opens the container opening for admission of air as long as a pressure difference between the interior of the container and the exterior of the container is smaller than a second predetermined limit value and that seals the container opening for admission of air when the pressure difference between the interior of the container and the exterior of the container is greater than the second predetermined limit value.

Abstract: A valve system for facilitating the discharge of a substance from a container. The valve system includes a first valve adapted for: (a) preventing discharge of the substance when a pressure difference between the container's interior and the container's exterior is below a first predetermined limit value; and (b) allowing discharge of the substance when the pressure difference between the container's interior and the container's exterior is larger than the first predetermined limit value. The valve system also includes a second valve adapted for: (a) allowing the readmission of air into the container when the pressure difference between the container's interior the container's exterior is smaller than a second predetermined limit value; and (b) preventing the readmission of air into the container when the pressure difference between the container's interior and the container's exterior is larger than the second predetermined limit value.

Abstract: A container for storing a product, such as a liquid, flowable formulation, paste, or powder. The container comprises a container body that includes an integrated massage device. The massage device comprises at least one rotatable device that is partially disposed within a seating in the exterior surface of the container body. This rotatable device is mounted so that at least a portion of the rotatable device protrudes from the container body, and so that the rotatable device may rotate (e.g., about an axis of rotation) relative to the container body. The rotatable devices may be used to massage a product into a a user's skin after the product has been dispensed from the container onto the user's skin.
