Abstract: A production facility for manufacturing motor vehicle license plates includes a hot stamping machine configured for the continuous application of ink to stamped plates by hot stamping. At least one first conveying component is provided to transport stamped plates through the hot stamping machine. The production facility includes at least one transfer arrangement having a buffer with a cashing component for at least two flat objects wherein the production facility includes a control unit for controlling the buffer for a successive deposition of flat objects from the buffer onto the first conveying component. In particular, with such a buffer, stamped plates and/or templates can be deposited on the first conveying component. The disclosure also relates to a process for operating such a production facility.

Abstract: Electric welding gun with a rotary torch head which with its auxiliary devices, is housed in an outer casing (1), on which a supporting casing (2) is constructed for handling the welding gun and into which are jointly introduced the supply lines for the torch head and the auxiliary devices. In the supply lines are provided liquid and gas lines issuing into ring chambers (43) axially sealed at either side and to which are connected line ducts (46) formed in the drive shaft (29), together with electrical lines connected to a current transfer mechanism for transferring the welding current to shaft (29). The current transfer mechanism is constructed as a contact brush (33) engaging on shaft (29) and the latter is made from a slip ring material. Each of the ring chambers (43) is axially constructed between retaining rings (44) arranged in pairs on a bush (47) fixed to shaft (29) and has holes (48) connecting the particular opening of the line ducts (46) in shaft (29) to the associated ring chamber (43).

Abstract: Adjustment assembly for the rotary torch head of an electrical welding gun having a torchholder (4) supporting the welding electrode (3) and a filling wire nozzle (8) at the end of a wire feed tube (9) held in a swivel holder (11) arranged on torchholder (4) so as to be swivellably adjustable about swivel spindle (10) of filler wire nozzle (8). Torchholder (4) is swivellably adjustably held on longitudinal slide (5) about its swivel spindle (7), slide (5) being adjustably guided on a cross-slide (6) parallel to the rotation axis of the torch head. For fixing the clearance of the adjusting devices, a spring can be secured between the back of the torchholder (4) and drive shaft (15) of the torch head. The spring can be formed by the wire feed tube (9), which is secured so as to be resiliently bent out between filler wire nozzle (8) and torch head drive shaft (15).
