  • Patent number: 10173487
Abstract: A joint device (6) including an axially extending pivot pin (8) and a housing (11) that surrounds the pivot pin radially, wholly or partially, such that the pivot pin (8) and the housing (11) can move relative to one another at least by pivoting. A separate retaining element (12; 13), for the housing (11), is associated with the joint device (6). The joint device is designed in such manner that the retaining element (11) starts from an area (14) of the housing (11) and engages in a substantially axial channel (15) of the pin (8).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 18, 2013
Date of Patent: January 8, 2019
    Assignee: ZF FRIEDRICHSHAFEN AG
Inventors: Lars von der Haar, Heinfried Helms, Franz-Josef Marquardt, Jens Donzelmann, Holger Rudolph, Andreas Rosengarten

  • Publication number: 20070201313
Abstract: The radio-controlled wristwatch comprises a memory unit (30) in which a table of more than four time signal transmitters (1 . . . 10) from more than two time zones (A . . . N) is stored. Attempts for receiving from the transmitters (1 . . . 10) filed in the table are made by a control device (28), and upon a successful reception of a time signal transmitter (1 . . . 10) from the table, the appurtenant time is displayed upon the display (32) of the wristwatch (20).

  • Patent number: 6205091
Abstract: In a solar-powered, radio-controlled timepiece an incorrect display can occur before the operating voltage definitively falls below the switch-off level if each pulse for the electromechanical transducer is no longer sufficient for advancing the display. A step monitor senses such an insufficient pulse and triggers a reset command in order to switch on the radio signal receiver for automatically correcting the hands position to the absolute time which is decoded from the current time telegram.

  • Patent number: 6134188
Abstract: A radio-controlled wristwatch includes a casing, a printed circuit board disposed in the casing, and an antenna disposed in the casing. The antenna includes a core and a coil carried by the core. The core comprises a stack of soft-iron strips stacked in a direction parallel to a plane of the circuit board. The stack is arranged in a curved shape extending along and adjacent to an outer peripheral edge of the circuit board. The core is bonded to a surface of the circuit board and supports the coil within a pocket formed in the circuit board.
