  • Publication number: 20240375132
Abstract: A droplet applicator for generating molten metal droplets having a volume in the range of nanoliters to milliliters. The droplet applicator includes a first wire feeding device, which vertically moves a first wire including a first wire material, and a first wire blocking device, which is configured to block the first wire. The first wire feeding device and the first wire blocking device are arranged within a housing, A wire heating device is arranged, vertically flush, below the first wire feeding device. The wire heating device heats regions of the first wire that have been introduced into the wire heating device by the first wire feeding device, to a temperature above a melting temperature of the first wire material.

  • Publication number: 20240281426
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are provided for a table schema that facilitates data denormalization, and which can allow for improved database system performance. Rather than accessing multiple tables, database operations can access a single table, which can reduce the number and complexity of database operations. The table schema includes an attribute subset indicator field. Different values of the attribute subset indicator field can be associated with different contexts, such as different tables or views, which in turn can represent different entity types. A given value of the attribute subset indicator field allows data to be accessed at a coarse granularity, while more-fine grained results can be obtained by providing a value for one or more attribute fields of the table. Different subsets of attributes are retrievable for a given value of the attribute subset indicator field.

  • Publication number: 20240222129
Abstract: A method for filling a rear-side cavity of a semiconductor assembly, the rear-side cavity having a metal layer. The method includes: dispensing a suspension with a specified drop size into the rear-side cavity of the semiconductor assembly using a drop applicator, wherein the suspension has a metal-containing powder and a liquid dispersion medium and the metal-containing powder has a particle size in the nanometer range; and heating the semiconductor assembly to a temperature of less than 500° C., whereby the metal-containing powder is sintered.

  • Publication number: 20210071919
Abstract: A heat exchanger system includes a heat exchanger device, which has elastocaloric elements made of elastocaloric material and is designed to move the elastocaloric elements, as a result of which said elements are deformed, so that an elastocaloric effect is achieved. The heat exchanger system further includes a vibrating unit, which generates mechanical vibrations, and a vibration transfer device arranged between the vibrating unit and the heat exchanger device, and which transfers the vibrations from the vibrating unit into the elastocaloric elements so that the elastocaloric elements move.

  • Publication number: 20200049389
Abstract: A heat exchanger is configured to surround a fluid line which guides a heat transport fluid. The heat exchanger includes at least one elastocaloric element, which is connected to the fluid line, and at least one actuator, which acts on the elastocaloric element and is configured so as, when actuated, to exert a force on the at least one elastocaloric elements in order to deform the at least one elastocaloric element. The heat exchanger further includes at least one fastening element, which is configured to fasten the heat exchanger to the fluid line.

  • Publication number: 20190371092
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for storing error information of a vehicle in at least one vehicle component of the vehicle. The method comprises at least one reading-in step and one providing step. In the reading-in step, an error signal is read in, which represents at least one provided piece of error information about at least one vehicle component. In the providing step, a memory signal is provided by using the error signal, which memory signal is designed to store the at least one piece of error information in a memory device of the vehicle component.

  • Publication number: 20180268028
Abstract: A denormalized table, referred to as a semantic cluster table, allows for improved database system performance. Rather than accessing multiple tables, database operations can access a single table, which can reduce the number and complexity of database operations. The semantic cluster table includes a semantic indicator field. Different values of the semantic indicator field can be associated with different semantic contexts, allowing data to be accessed at a coarse granularity. Each semantic context can also be associated with one or more attribute fields, which can be used to access data, including at different level of granularity than the semantic indicator field value alone. Each semantic context can also be associated with specific key figure fields, which can preserve the different semantic contexts of data in the semantic cluster table.
