The fluid impermeable barrier also defines an opening extending longitudinally along the fluid impermeable barrier and configured to be positioned adjacent to a female urethra.

Abstract: An example fluid collection assembly includes a reusable fluid impermeable barrier that is configured to be reusable and at least one single use wicking cartridge that may not configured to be reusable. The reusable fluid impermeable barrier defines an chamber therein. The reusable fluid impermeable barrier and the single use wicking cartridge are configured to have the single use wicking cartridge disposed in a chamber defined by the reusable fluid impermeable barrier. The fluid collection assembly may also include at least one tube that is at least partially disposed in the chamber or otherwise in fluid communication with the chamber. The tube is configured to remove other bodily fluids (e.g., urine) from the chamber.

Abstract: Examples relate to systems, devices, and methods for removing fluid from a fluid collection device using a vacuum source operably coupled thereto. The fluid collection devices include urine collection devices shaped to complement the female or male anatomy near the respective urethras and the vacuum source is operably coupled to the fluid collection device via one or more sections of conduit. The fluid collection devices include antimicrobial materials in or on one or more components thereof.

Abstract: Examples relate to devices, systems, and methods for collecting and measuring discharged urine. A urine collection system includes a urine collection device configured to collect urine discharged from a user and a urine collection container in fluid communication with the urine collection device and sized and dimensioned to receive the urine discharged from the user. The urine collection system also includes a flow meter having a communication interface and positioned between the urine collection container and the urine collection device. The flow meter is configured to detect a flow property of the urine at least related to a volume of the urine entering the urine collection container and the communication interface is configured to wirelessly communicate to a computing device at least one of the detected flow property or the volume of the urine including the volume of the urine discharged from the user entering the urine collection container.
