  • Patent number: 6104246
Abstract: A RF integrated circuit including an amplifier having an input node and an output node; a switchable feedback path coupled between the output node and input node; and a switchable bias injector coupled to the input node. When the switchable feedback path is off and the switchable bias injector is on, the amplifier is in a high gain state. When the switchable feedback path is on and the switchable bias injector is off, the amplifier is in a low gain state. The circuit may be used in up converters and down converters for CDMA systems.
