Abstract: A delaying device for a fluid system for operating a hydraulic motor (10) wherein electrically operated pilot valves (39,40) are actuated by limit switches (13,13') in the motor to control flow through pilot lines (37,38) into a control block (20) and then to and from the motor, said delaying device comprising a dashpot cylinder (46) connected to said pilot lines for momentarily continuing to supply fluid to said control block (20) after pilot valve (39 or 40) is shut off.

Abstract: A linear piston operator having a cylinder enclosing at least one piston, a connector bar connected to said piston and an oscillatable element operatively connecting the connector bar to a rotary shaft extending transversely and tangentially of the cylinder. The oscillatable element extends through a longitudinal slot in the cylinder wall, and the shaft end of the element is enclosed in a housing having two longitudinal reinforcing portions extending along and welded to the sides of the slot, said shaft being journaled in said reinforcing portions.

Abstract: A pipeline shutoff control actuated by movement of a pressure responsive element connected to the pipeline and having a predetermined restraining force applied thereto, said restraining force adapted to release said element in response to a predetermined rate of pressure drop in said pipeline whereby to actuate said control.
