Thus when the user turns on the player, the controller within the player identifies and retrieves the signal mark stored in the free space of the flash memory, and retrieve the preset parameters or information previously stored or set as the signal mark, and therefore the player is capable of reproducing preset parameters or information. Thus, the inconvenience of setting, for example, sound, volume of the sound, vision and the like, each time the player is turned on can be effectively eliminated.

The communication manager receives communication resource allocation requests from clients or a self-tuning algorithm. A resource self-tuning mechanism allocates or de-allocates memory blocks used for communication resource elements dynamically in real time without cycling the instance. Memory blocks are de-allocated asynchronously by placing associated communication resource elements in quarantine until all communication resource elements associated with the memory block are quarantined.

Abstract: The invention provides an audio video digital signal processing device comprising a plurality of memory interfaces or connecters adapted to receive memory means, a digital signal processor DSP adapted to detect connection of memory means in the memory interfaces and to recognize the audio video format of the stored data, an audio output for audio signal output, a video output for video signal output, and a digital to analog converter and amplifier controlled by the DSP to process audio and video signals from the memory means for output to external audio and video apparatus through the audio output and the video output. The audio and video signals can be processed with a variety of personalized presentation effects based upon users requirements.
