    Abstract: A microwave ablation probe including a probe body including a shielded portion and a radiation window that is at least partially transparent to microwave energy. The shielded portion includes a cannula, a coaxial cable within the probe body, and an antenna comprising a radiating portion for emission of microwave energy at a distal portion of the probe body, wherein the radiating portion is aligned with the radiation window. The probe body defines an irrigation path configured to carry cooling fluid to and from the distal portion of the probe body. At least one wall defining the irrigation path comprises a heat exchange surface having an average radius, wherein a surface area of the heat exchange surface is larger than a surface area of a smooth surface with a radius equal to the average radius.

    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of biological products for veterinary medicine, and specifically relates to a recombinant foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) with a reduced immunosuppressive activity, a preparation method and use thereof, and a recombinant vaccine strain. According to the present disclosure, it is firstly discovered that FMDV 3B protein has an immunosuppressive function, and key sites for exerting the immunosuppressive function are found. A recombinant FMDV vaccine strain with a lost immunosuppressive function in FMDV 3B protein is constructed by introducing amino acid mutations into three repeated copies of FMDV 3B protein.

In one embodiment, an airflow guide of a body coil assembly of an MRI system comprises a first surface that forms an air passage when the airflow guide is positioned on the body coil assembly, the air passage enclosed by the first surface and a second, outer surface of an RF coil of the body coil assembly, the airflow guide configured to channel cool air generated by a fan to the second, outer surface of the RF coil. The airflow guide may be arranged circumferentially around a portion of the RF coil at one or more ends of the RF coil. The airflow guide may be manufactured as a plurality of airflow guide segments that are glued together.

In conjunction with a drive component and a pressing mechanism, smooth vertical movement of the support column is achieved when the threaded sleeve rotates. This allows a bottom end of the support column to extend from the mounting box body.

An impedance of tissue is measured using the first and second electrodes. The impedance is used to detect a change in tissue due to microwave ablation of the tissue. Therapy parameters for the microwave ablation procedure can be adjusted in response to the measured impedance. In some examples, one of the electrodes is proximal and one electrode is distal to the radiating portion.
