Abstract: A system and a method for parameter optimization with adaptive search space and a user interface using the same are provided. The system includes a data acquisition unit, an adaptive adjustment unit and an optimization search unit. The data acquisition unit obtains a set of executed values of several operating parameters and a target parameter. The adaptive adjustment unit includes a parameter space transformer and a search range definer. The parameter space transformer performs a space transformation on a parameter space of the operating parameters according to the executed values. The search range definer defines a parameter search range in a transformed parameter space based on the sets of the executed values. The optimization search unit takes the parameter search range as a limiting condition and takes optimizing the target parameter as a target to search for a set of recommended values of the operating parameters.

Abstract: A dual-processor system includes a power supply, a temporary memory, a non-volatile memory and two processors. The non-volatile memory stores an initialization program code, a first configuration file corresponding to a first operating system, and a second configuration file corresponding to a second operating system. Compared to the first operating system, the second operating system has a shorter interrupt latency and a shorter thread switching latency. After the power supply starts to supply power, the first processor executes the initialization program code to perform operations of initializing the temporary memory, loading the second configuration file into the temporary memory, notifying the second processor to fetch the second configuration file from the temporary buffer, loading the first configuration rile into the temporary memory and establishing the first operating system according to the first configuration file.

Abstract: An apparatus for vehicle management and control is provided. The apparatus includes a processing unit, a vehicle lock controller and a non-contactable radio frequency (RF) reader. When an identification (ID) tag approaches to the non-contactable RF reader in a predetermined distance, the non-contactable RF reader reads ID information in the ID tag, and transmits the ID information to the processing unit. The processing unit executes a task according to an interaction relationship between the non-contactable RF reader and the ID tag or a user.

Abstract: An operating method for a portable device is provided, wherein the portable device has a touch sensing unit and a display unit coupled to the touch sensing unit. The display unit displays an icon menu comprising a plurality of icons. In the operating method, the touch sensing unit senses a touch action to generate a sensing signal. The sensing signal is analyzed to determine whether the touch action is a holding action. When the touch action is determined to be the holding action, a mis-touch recovering operation is performed on the icon corresponding to a contact region touched by the touch action. When it is determined that the touch action is not the holding action, a function corresponding to the icon corresponding to a contact region touched by the touch action is executed.

The processor will export an adjusting image on the screen after obtaining and dealing with the position signal and the target signal.

After an ONO dielectric layer is formed on a first conductive layer over a tunnel oxide layer, a second conductive layer is formed on the ONO dielectric layer. Then, patterning the second conductive layer to form a periphery region comprising an exposed portion of a semiconductor substrate and a memory cell region comprising the left second conductive layer. During the present process, the ONO dielectric layer is protected from being exposed in various solvents and gases with the second conductive layer. Thus, a flash memory cell with a high-quality ONO gate dielectric layer, without increasing complexity of the process and additional masks, is obtained.

Abstract: A corner free structure of a nonvolatile memory is disclosed in this present invention. The key aspect of this present invention is employing a corner free structure for isolating a trench isolation device and a nonvolatile memory, and thus the reliability of the above-mentioned nonvolatile memory is improved. Furthermore, based on the definition of coupling ratio, as a result of the above-cited corner free structure, the effective channel area of the nonvolatile memory is modified, and thus the nonvolatile memory according to this present invention can achieve higher efficiency than the nonvolatile memory in the prior art. Therefore, this invention can not only improve the reliability of a nonvolatile memory, but also advance the efficiency of the nonvolatile memory.
