  • Publication number: 20120133506
Abstract: A mobile positioning apparatus, a server, and a mobile positioning method are provided. The mobile positioning apparatus can catch an environment image of the mobile positioning apparatus, retrieve a positioning marker from the environment image, and receive the positioning data from the server. Then the mobile positioning apparatus can calculate a current position of the mobile positioning apparatus according to the positioning marker and the positioning data.

  • Publication number: 20120136619
Abstract: A collision detecting method, an electronic device, and a computer program product thereof are provided for the electronic device having an accelerometer, a positioning module, and a communication module. The method includes obtaining a plurality of acceleration variations within each of a plurality of sampling intervals respectively detected by the accelerometer. The method also includes transforming the corresponding acceleration variations into a plurality of frequency domain signals for each sampling interval, and calculating energy and entropy of the frequency domain signals. The method further includes determining a collision has occurred if the energy and the entropy corresponding to each of a plurality of specific sampling intervals among the sampling intervals both drastically increase then drastically decrease suddenly.

  • Publication number: 20120101157
Abstract: Disclosed are 4,5-diamino-3-halo-2-hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives and manufactures thereof. The 4,5-diamino-3-halo-2-hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives are presented by formula (I): wherein R1 group is H, CH3, or C2H5; R2 group is H, or Br; R3 group is CH3, or C3H7; and R4 group is H, or C(?NH)—NH2. 4,5-diamino-3-halo-2-hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives provided here were non-toxic to MDCK cells, particularly compounds 6a, 6b, 6c, 6e, 6f, 7a, 7b and 8 had better anti-H1N1 activity. In the future, these compounds can be used to focus on viral neuraminidases as targets to develop effective anti-influenza drugs.

  • Patent number: 7649422
Abstract: A real time clock integrated circuit (RTC IC) and an electronic apparatus thereof are provided. In the RTC IC, only a low-power oscillator is used for generating a standard clock for a real time counter, and the standard clock with a frequency drift of the low-power oscillator is compensated through table lookup. Accordingly, the power consumption, fabrication cost and design complexity of the RTC IC are reduced and the counting operation duration of the RTC IC is prolonged.

  • Publication number: 20060092153
Abstract: A method for power management used in a display device is disclosed. When the display device enters a power-saving mode, the method performs the steps of periodically enabling a video channel of the display device, detecting a video signal of the video channel and determining either to switch the display device into a normal mode or to keep it in the power-saving mode according to the detecting result. By means of this method, the display device can achieve power saving, respond to external changes, and help to solve the problem of prior art.
