  • Publication number: 20120036968
Abstract: The present invention discloses a ratchet wrench comprising a main body, a driving head, three pawls, a knurled rotatable disc and a locking ring. The driving head has a limit portion and a couple portion for coupling a workpiece. The limit portion has three tangent planes each forming a recess cut for pawl located. The limit portion has a cylinder linking with the locking ring. The limit portion is mounted by a mounting piece having three sliding slots and three rails. Each pawl is guided by a relative rail and has a rod linking to an elastic element. When the knurled rotatable disc is turned to interact the rod, the rod triggers the pawl, and the retaining cogs of the pawl are engaged with the ratchet teeth to control the driving head being turned clockwise or counterclockwise.

  • Publication number: 20120036966
Abstract: The present invention relates to a ratchet wrench comprising a main body, a driving head, three pawls, a knurled rotatable disc, a linkage piece and a locking element. The driving head has a columned limit portion, and a polygonal columned couple portion for coupling a workpiece. The limit portion has three tangent planes with equal central angles each forming a recess cut for each pawl located. The linkage piece links the limit portion and penetrates the knurled rotatable disc to link with the locking element. The limit portion is mounted by a mounting piece which has three first sliding slots and three rails bored on it. Each pawl is guided by a relative rail, and has a rod extended upwards. The rod links to an elastic element which provides elasticity for the rod to move in radial direction.

  • Patent number: 7987975
Abstract: The present invention discloses a wrench rack comprising a main frame, two recess bases, a linkage member and a cover plate. Two recess bases are set on the main frame, and each recess base has a plurality of recesses defined on its front for handle portions of wrenches to be engaged. The linkage member links with the main frame and the cover plate respectively. When the cover plate covers up the front of the main frame, the wrenches are limited. When the cover plate is flipped to the rear of the main frame, the cover plate is able to sustain the main frame along with the stand of the main frame. Therefore, the stability of the holder to place wrenches can be improved and so can the flexibility for users.

  • Publication number: 20110113933
Abstract: The present invention discloses a ratchet wrench with a head portion disposed at one end of a main body. A driving head is disposed in the head portion. A retaining portion is disposed on the driving head. The periphery of the retaining portion has three recess cuts each holding one pawl in a swing status. A circular chamber is disposed in the periphery of the retaining portion. Three pawls are pin-connected by three connecting pins so as to move together. The circular chamber is coupled with one triangular elastic piece. One rotatable disc and one cardioid spring are disposed on the head portion. When the rotatable disc is turned, the shift pin at the bottom of the rotatable disc drives the cardioid spring and one pawl, then the other two pawls move together so that the retaining teeth on one side of the pawl engage with the ratchet teeth, and further control the driving head on clockwise or counterclockwise driving.
