  • Publication number: 20030184977
Abstract: The present invention relates to a door mounting structure using a guide rail that guides movement of a door and minimizes the space occupied for opening and closing the door. The door mounting structure includes a case panel forming part of a case, a door to partially close the case panel, at least one guide protrusion formed in the door, and at least one guide rail guiding the guide protrusion to move the door inside of the case. According to the present invention, the door size has minimal effect on the internal layout of the computer case, thereby increasing the degree of freedom for designing. Also the door can be fixed at arbitrary position while being opened due to friction between the door boss and the guide rail.

  • Publication number: 20030169771
Abstract: An apparatus and method for reordering traffic flow templates (TFTs) in a mobile communication system. The apparatus and method include a primary GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP) tunnel for transmitting and receiving packet data to and from a mobile station and one or more secondary GTP tunnels having the same mobile station address as the primary GTP tunnel and each being divided into different TFTs. The TFTs each include different packet filter contents so that the secondary GTP tunnels are separated through TFT packet filtering. A controller is adapted to sequentially perform TFT packet filtering on input packet data for the TFTs, manage statistical data of packet data successfully TFT packet filtered according to the TFTs, and reorder an order of the TFTs by comparing the statistical data of the packet data successfully TFT packet filtered for the TFTs if a preset period expires.

  • Publication number: 20020054614
Abstract: A wavelength discretely tunable semiconductor laser that addresses wide wavelength tuning range, is mode hopping free, has high output power, has fast wavelength switching time, is wavelength locking free and is relatively simple. Four exemplary embodiments disclosed herein utilize a wavelength discretely tunable semiconductor laser that comprises a discretely tunable filter and laser amplifier. In the first embodiment, the tuning element comprises a pair of cascade Fabry-Perot filters, each having a plurality of characteristic narrow transmission passbands that pass only the cavity mode under the passband. The spacing between the narrow transmission passbands are slightly different in one filter from the other filter so that only one passband from each filter can be overlapped in any given condition over the entire active element gain spectral range, thereby permitting lasing only at a single cavity mode passed by the cascade double filters.

  • Publication number: 20020044242
Abstract: A liquid crystal display having an electrode pad for compensating for differences in resistance of electrode links. A pad portion in contact with a driving circuit includes a transparent electrode pattern having a length that depends on the length of an associated electrode link that is connected between the pad portion and a corresponding signal line at a pixel area on which a plurality of liquid crystal cells are arranged. Accordingly, resistance differences that depend on the length of the electrode links are compensated for using electrode pads, thereby making signal conductors with substantially equal resistances.

  • Patent number: 5377211
Abstract: Method and apparatus for Raman laser oscillation using stimulating Brillouin scattering as well as stimulated Raman scattering. The method comprises generation of a seed beam and condensing of the seed beam to a gas cell using the condensing lens such that part of the condensed beam is scattered by stimulated Raman scattering while the other part of the condensed beam is scattered by stimulated Brillouin scattering. The stimulated Raman scattered laser beam is outputted from a collimating lens while the stimulated Brillouin scattered laser beam returns to the condensing lens thanking for its phase conjugate characteristic. The stimulated Brillouin scattered laser beam is amplified in a section between a phase conjugate mirror and the resonance reflection mirror and condensed to the gas cell such that it is again scattered by stimulated Raman scattering in the gas cell prior to its output from the collimating lens.

  • Patent number: 4786396
Abstract: A liquid junction electrode 10 formed from a silicon body 14 and having a glass membrane 22 attached thereto. A reference electrode is constructed by forming the glass membrane 22 from porous glass having a preferable pore size in the range of 40 angstroms to 75 angstroms. The porous glass membrane 22 has a coating 24 of glass containing mobile ions that is electrostatically bonded to the silicon body 14. Alternatively, a glass plug 92 is formed from a paste of ground glass and organic binder that is heated to cause formation of pores and bonding of the glass plug 92 to a silicon body 94. An ion-sensitive electrode is constructed by forming the membrane 52 from an ion-sensitive glass or by filling the pores of the porous glass membrane 22 with an ion-sensitive material.
