  • Patent number: 9061451
Abstract: A quick-drying print and environmental-friendly biaxially orientated polypropylene synthetic paper is produced from a polypropylene resin composition comprising a high crystalline polypropylene resin, calcium carbonate composite particles, titanium dioxide composite particles, antistatic agents, UV absorbers and anti-blocking agent, which are fed into one twin-screw primary extruder and two twin-screw secondary extruders respectively, convergently flowed through the same T-die, co-extruded into a three-layer structure substrate film, after cooling and setting, this film is first longitudinally orientated, then laterally orientated; thereafter the three-layer film is high-frequency corona treated and winded up to gain the film having thickness less than 250 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20140087135
Abstract: Provided is an in-mold label and a method for producing the in-mold label which has a heat-sealable resin layer with a plurality of interlaced and continuous-arranged micro-protrusions. While the in-mold label is combined on a surface of a specific article, the micro-protrusions may provide multiple blister-exhausting paths. As a result, it is effective to drive out the blisters as combining the label and the article. The in-mold label particularly includes a substrate made of a thermoplastic resin material, a printed layer on the substrate's one surface, and the other surface made of heat-sealable resin. With an embossing process, the heat-sealable resin layer having the interlaced and continuous-arranged micro-protrusions is formed. The in-mold label can be sealed to the article surface excellently since the micro-protrusions form the multiple paths for exhausting the blisters effectively.

  • Patent number: 8628117
Abstract: The instant disclosure relates to a push-fit ring-seal joint structure for plastic pipes. For the joint structure, a lip portion tapers away from the pipe outlet, while a throat portion tapers toward the pipe outlet. The joint structure allows the angular deflection to be increased by three or four times versus the conventional push-fit joint, while maintaining excellent sealing and pressure rating. By the unique design of the joint structure, the structural flexibility of pipe connection can be increased. When there is ground movement due to land subsidence or earthquake or adjustment in pipe route, the coupled pipe can maintain excellent sealing and pressure rating. Therefore, the joint structure of the instant disclosure indeed has novelty and industrial applicability.

  • Publication number: 20120119421
Abstract: The present invention discloses a device and a method for processing the impression structure of 3-layer co-extruded biaxial oriented polypropylene (BOPP) pearl synthetic paper. The depth of the impression on the synthetic paper is between 0.2-1000 ?m which is embossed by the modified embosser. The 3-layer co-extruded pearl synthetic paper is processed for cooling, biaxial orientation, corona treatment and winding and then passing through the modified embosser to preheating, calender, cooling. The modified embossing device comprises a rubber back-up roll having at least Shore A hardness of 60-90; an embossing roll with a designed pattern and a cooling system having a core; a quartz electric heating oven preheated to 65° C. to 160° C.; a infrared heater; and two adjacent cooling drums with 7° C.
